Houston and Frustration (no sex)

12/23/2012

I was standing at the bar completely lost in thought. It
had been a week since Megan and i had spent those few days
together. My mind replayed the soft caresses and sweet
kisses, the moments we spent lost in passion. The giggles
and looks we gave each other while we sat on my living room
bean bag couch while Jason flipped channels. The way she
looked in my clothes while her's were being washed.

It turned out that Ebony had kept the secret of our little
night time escapade and just winked at us when she walked
by. Our co workers would tease us about the escapades of
Tifa, Megan, and I but only light heartedly and they actually
seemed happy about Megan and I becoming closer. Tifa hadn't
said a word about why she had to leave in such a hurry and no
one pressed it. Tifa, Megan, and I seemed to gravitate to
each other as much as possible and honestly it was nice.
For the first time in a long time i felt alive, i was excited
about something i just couldn't put my finger on it.
For being November i was in a surprisingly good mood, November
usually is not a good month for me.

I was watching the new giant projector screen Gene had bought
and hung behind the stage. Espn was pretty boring and easily
allowed my mind to wander to were ever it wanted to go. I think
i might have even been smiling. (disgusting i know) I was
somewhere between remembering Megan's hazel eyes
locked on me while she sucked my cock and the night we held
each other just talking when an odd voice filled my ears.

"you stare to long and you will go blind coo yon"

I turned my head slowly not believing what i was hearing
and saw a 6'2 guy with huge mutton chops and his dark
shaggy hair tucked under a camouflage baseball cap with
an alligator on it. He had a lopsided Han Solo grin on his
chiseled face and looked around the bar. His frame had leaned
down since the last time i had seen him and he probably ran
about 220 now. He wore a light blue shirt with a cartoon raccoon
mooning and the word "coonass" underneath
it and paint stained tattered dark blue jeans. He had a large
duffle bag over his shoulders and had an air of train traveling
hobo about him.

La, Tifa was coming down the bathroom hallway drying her
hands off on her apron when the man spotted her. "well
aren't you a little lan yap" he said to her. His
appearance and strange words seemed to startle the Halle
Berry look a like. She faltered her steps and chose to walk
between the tables in stead of the walkway that would have
taken her by him. "I belong to him" she said pointing
at me as if to forestal any further advances from the strange
man.

Tifa walked straight up to the bar looking nervous and hushed
her voice enough so that he couldn't hear her. "what
in the hell did he say to me?" I couldn't help but
laugh "lan yap means a little something special"
i told her. The confusion on her face was evident and made
me laugh again. Megan, and Riko came from the kitchen tying
on their aprons and were immediately put in the man's
cross hairs.

The man dropped the duffle bag on the reddish brown tiled
floor with a loud slap that echoed through the empty restaurant.
He held his arms out wide "i must have died and gone
to paradise. Ladies i am at your service" Riko and
Megan mimicked Tifa's earlier action and almost ran
up to the bar and the apparent safety of me. A curious look
crossed his face "y'all don't tell me you
belong to him as well?"

"Y yes we do" Riko stammered and looked worried.
Megan's eyes shifted back and forth between me and
the strange man standing by the front doors. "only
you can get me this Baude'd" his cajun accented
voiced boomed through the empty room. His eyes squinted
and he brought his hands together and curled his fingers
"GREE GREE" he bellowed making Riko jump. The
girls started to back up so they could hide behind the bar
next to me. I had to do my best to stifle the giant laugh that
threatened to emerge.

I moved past the girls trying to hide behind the bar and stepped
off the raised platform down to the main floor to face this
threat.

"oooooo weeeeeee someone be hittin the gym these
days" He laughed.

"and i see someone is a dirty old man that preys on helpless
girls" I said back putting as much deep boom into it
as i could.

His menacing face suddenly changed to worry and he started
to rub his belly right under the word coonass "I am
only 28 ya bastard. I am not old"

Like a snapping rubber band the tension in the room vanished,
Jai and i made short work of the distance between us and we
gave each other the tight one arm man huge. "how the
hell have you been mon ami!" he said slapping my back.
The giant smile on his stubbled face was infectious and
i mimicked it "good, good brother i am glad you didn't
get blown away by that bitch Katrina" I told him happily.
It was great to see my old friend again, considering that
Jason and i had worried ourselves sick when we couldn't
reach him after the hurricane.

A confused look crossed his face "they all belong
to you?" He said looking up and the three confused
girls hiding behind the bar. "long story" I
laughed. I picked up his duffel and guided him to the bar.

"Ladies may i introduce you to Jai Du'pree"
I told them holding my hand out as if to present him. The recognition
of the name the girls had heard so often in Jason and I's
stories hit them and they visibly relaxed. I introduced
him to the girls and they all gladly shook his hand and welcomed
him but were still not brave enough to come back out from
behind the bar. "Can i get a bottle of Shiner for my
friend here please"

Jai accepted the bottle from Tifa and sat himself down on
a bar stool. The next hour or so we both told stories about
what had happened since Minnesota and laughed at each others
stupidity. The other servers had come up to meet the strange
Cajun man they had all heard so much about. Jai's easy
going personality and quick wit easily won them over and
soon were joking along with us. It felt good to have my old
friend back.

"so why didn't you call us and let us know you were
coming man. We haven't even bought you a couch yet"
i told him. He barked out a laugh "I called J last week"
I shook my head "of course you did"

Gene and Laura came walking in and immediately noticed
almost all their employee's at the bar. They walked
up to us to find out what the fuss was all about, i introduced
Jai to them as their new bouncer. They had heard enough about
him to know that it would be a good hire and got him the paper
work. He also agreed to fill in cooking in the kitchen when
needed and soon the two owners were laughing along with
Jai's stories.

"you Cajun summabitch how the fuck are you!!"
Jason's big voice boomed. Jai turned toward the door
to see Jason's cat got the mouse grin and got up off the
bar stool to meet him. Jason picked him up in a bear hug as
easily as a child picks up a doll. They laughed and did the
hug thing before joining us back at the bar "well the
three of us are back together" Jason said proudly
"God help us all" I laughed.

"We gonna rip this town up" Jai said in a much
thicker Cajun accent then he needed. For some reason a sudden
sense of dread washed over me. "If i get arrested i
will kill them both" I thought to myself.

"you want to start tonight?" Gene asked. Jai
took off his hat and ran his fingers through his dark shag
of hair and let out a deep breath. "i would love too,
i have been out of work for too long" he said sounding
very relieved. "lets get you home and settled in Jai
we start tonight at 7 so that gives us a few hours" Jason
said slapping him on the shoulder. Jai repeated everyone's
name just to be sure he had them all then told them how great
it was to meet them. "can i get your keys bro, i have
a couch we need to pick up down the street" Jason asked.
I dug my keys out of my pocket and tossed them to him "just
take out the third seat and leave it in the kitchen"
They said goodbye one last time and vanished out of the front
doors.

"you seem really happy" Megan said from my side.
I turned to see her looking up at me with a half smile on her
face. "yeah it's great to know he is still alive
and kicking. When we hadn't heard from him we got worried"
I told her. She reached out and put her hand on my arm "well
it all worked out and i am glad you are happy" she said
and gave my bicep a reassuring squeeze. I searched her face
and felt the butterflies well up in my stomach again. "you
really are amazing you know that" I told her. A slow
smile spread across her face and she blushed "that
means a lot"

She gave my arm another squeeze and left me standing with
Tifa and Riko. "so he is going to stay with you guys
for a while? Riko asked. I nodded silently in response "that
is very nice of you guys to help your friend out that way"
Tifa added. Both of the girls looked at me with an expression
on their faces i hadn't seen before. Tifa rubbed my
arm like Megan had and left the bar, Riko moved forward and
put her hands on my chest. She got up on her tip toes and lightly
kissed me on the cheek before she turned and left.

I put my hand to my cheek "what was all that about"
i wondered.

Later that night Jason brought Jai back looking much more
refreshed, he had somehow gotten a hair cut and had shaved
the stubble off his face. (But left the chops of course)
They were dressed alike in dark jeans and black shirts that
said security across the back. I was guessing that Jason
had lent him one of his extras. Jason gave him a tour of the
place and introduced him to the kitchen staff, Jai and Louis
our other New Orleans transplant immediately hit it off.
It was good to see Jai genuinely happy and i was even more
glad that everyone seemed to accept and welcome him readily.

Some people believe there is no such thing as coincidence
while others believe things happen for a reason and everything
can be explained that way. Me? I just believe things happen
and sometimes people are in the right place at the right
time while other times not so much. It was like Friday night
fight night, Jai and Jason were kept busy by several drunken
scuffles and one all out brawl that Scott and i had to jump
in to help with. As Jason, Jai, and I had thrown the last of
the guys out into the strip mall parking lot we couldn't
help but look at each other and laugh.

"it ain't Gabby's but it's still fun"
Jai laughed. We all gave each other high fives and walked
back into the throbbing crowd of Bourbon Street feeling
like the good old days had come back. The rest of the night
was a blur of drinks, dancing, and the normal party atmosphere.
Robin, Christie and I made a crap ton of money and so had the
servers. Gene and Laura were extremely happy with business
and Scott had successfully been able to hide from Princess
for most of the night so all in all it was a great night.

"I think i am going to like it here" Jai said in
between sips of his after shift beer. The whole front of
the house staff sat at the bar counting out money and sipping
off assorted drinks, well all except Tifa. She was the only
one not drinking and was just sitting there staring off
into space. I wanted to ask her what was wrong but I didn't
want to do it in front of everyone. "i am glad you like
it because tomorrow we need you guys to start at 5"
Scott said from behind the group. "there is a car and
motorcycle show in the parking lot so we expect it to be busy
early tomorrow"

Jai clapped his hands together and rubbed them as if to warm
them up from the cold "sounds good to me bossman"
Some of the waitresses groaned when they found out they
had to be there early as well. After they had gotten their
money straight they all headed back to the office to do their
cash outs. Christie was getting a ride from Robin to the
bar that her man worked at so they said their goodbyes and
took off into the cooling night air leaving my two friends
and I alone

"man you got a sweet deal here Dave" Jai laughed
"La'Tfa, Megan, Riko, and that fine piece
of nasty Robin"

"you should have seen the twins" Jason quipped
Groucho Marxing his eyebrows and downing the remainder
of his beer.

"that time on the phone? you mean there really was
a set of twins?" Jai asked looking back and forth between
Jason and I.

"oh yeah you should have seen these two little latin
hotties! I got one and he got the other" Jason told
him "only problem was we were white and their parents
wanted them to have nothing to do with us" I added

Jai shook his head and let out a laugh "well it looks
like i have some catching up to do and not a big enough playground
to do it in" He laced his fingers together and stretched
them out in front of him. "time to go all coonass on
this here berg"

Jason and I both laughed "well lets get out of here
man, i have no doubt you are ready to crash" Jason told
Jai putting his hand on his shoulder. Jai nodded and got
up from the bar. As they walked out the front door Tifa came
through the kitchen door, she looked around for a moment
then came up to the bar looking nervous or sad. She sat on
a bar stool and looked around one more time before leaning
across it.

"kiss me" she whispered "kiss me now"

I could see the pain in her face as she spoke the words i felt
a sudden coldness in my stomach but leaned across the bar
none the less. As our faces came close together i could see
a single tear fall from her right eye and trail down her mocha
colored cheek. Our lips met in a slow passionate kiss, slowly
our tongues swirled around one another, i cupped her left
cheek in my hand and felt wetness. The coldness in my stomach
was quickly replaced with a rising heat as the passion began
to consume us both. Our lips hungrily attacked one another
as we dove deeper and deeper into our kiss.

For a minute or 5 we were locked in our deeply emotional kiss
until finally she tore herself away. I opened my eyes to
find her crying "Tifa whats wrong?" I asked
completely concerned and worried for her. She turned her
head towards the door and sniffled, she used her hands to
wipe the tears from her cheeks and took a deep breath.

"my boyfriend and i" she started to say. She
broke into a soft sob before she could get herself under
control again " We are pregnant" she sniffled
"i am 8 weeks" Her gaze fell into her lap and i
could tell she was ringing her hands. I knew without a doubt
that it wasn't mine and to be honest it never worried
me to begin with. I was just more worried about her and how
torn up she seemed. "I.... I can't.." she
shook her head as if not wanting to say the words she needed
to say. "we can't anymore, you and I can't
anymore" a huge sob racked her body and she folded
in on herself. I started to move around the bar so i could
take her into my arms and console her.

"please don't" she said holding out her
hand as if to stop me " i know you just want to make me
feel better and you are worried about me and that makes it
even worse" she sniffled "you are, you are..
I am sorry" she said breaking into another sob. She
jumped off the bar stool and all but ran out the front doors
leaving me alone and feeling helpless to do anything for
her. I felt so bad that she was so unhappy about this and all
i wanted to do was try and help her through it. I honestly
cared a lot about her, she was an amazing person with a big
heart and didn't seem to have the best home life. I just
wanted to help her.

The sound of laughter and yells broke my gaze away from the
door as more servers came out of the kitchen "where
did everyone go?" Ebony asked looking around. I told
them that Jai was exhausted and Jason took him home to crash.
As for Tifa? I just told them she had to get home. What else
could I say? As far as i knew she hadn't told anyone but
me. I took a deep breath and pasted a fake smile on my face
"so everyone make out like bandits tonight?"

With that they all started talking about what a good night
it had been and started to swap stories with each other about
their big tipping tables. I turned back towards the doors
and couldn't get the picture of Tifa walking head down
through the parking lot crying and holding herself out
of my mind. It was like a punch to the gut and i was too impotent
to do anything about it.

That night i dreamt about the things in my life that had exploded
on me, i dreamt about when i thought i was going to be a father
only to find out it wasn't mine. I also dreamt about
the phone call from the state patrol telling me my wife had
died. It seemed like Tifa looking so sad reminded me about
all the bad in my life as well. I woke myself up in fear and
sat up board straight in bed "i fucking hate November"
i muttered and let myself fall back into my bed.

The next night at work i found out that Tifa had called in
sick, Scott didn't say she quit but just that she wouldn't
be there that night. All through the evening i couldn't
stop thinking about her and what if anything i could do for
her. More than a few people i worked with asked me if everything
was alright and why i was being so quiet. It was then that
i found out i had real feelings for La'Tifa and i cared
about what happened to her.

As the next week went by i did my best to try and talk to her
but she would shut me down quick asking me not to bring it
up or just telling me it would all be ok. She was pushing me
away for some reason and there was nothing i could do to stop
it. In the end i realized that the best i could do for her was
not to add stress and i let it go. As the days went by she seemed
to shake off her sadness or was getting better at hiding
it. She kept the pregnancy to herself but was getting back
to laughing and joking with everyone again. Well everyone
but me at least...

I woke up Sunday morning to the sound of Jason and Jai laughing
hysterically at something. I had another nightmare that
night from the past and really wasn't in a mood to deal
with this crap so early in the morning. I threw on shirt and
shorts and stumbled my way down the steps rubbing the sleep
from my eyes "what in the hell are you two doing so damn
early" i groaned. I found them standing by our large
bay window that was over our new giant fluffy couch Jai was
using as a bed.

They turned toward me in unison and pointed out of the window
at something across the street. I joined the two taller
men at the window and looked out to see what they were laughing
at. A naked man was running in circles in the street in front
of our condo being chased by a woman in a night gown with a
softball bat. She was screaming at him so loud you could
almost hear it through the window. I had to rub my eyes again
to believe what i was seeing, just as i opened them the woman
took a huge swing with her bat and barely missed the guys
back.

"what in the hell!" I laughed

"dunno i just woke up and saw it" Jai laughed

"should we do something?" Jason asked staring
in awe at the man's ability to dodge the angry woman's
swings.

"i suppose we could call the police" I answered.

"in this rich ass neighborhood y'all live in?
I am sure there are dozens of calls into them already"
Jai retorted.

"word" Jason answered.

"I got 5 bucks saying she gets him" Jai said.
I watched the man do a spin move to get away from her wild swings
"I'll take that bet, he is too quick on his feet
to get hit"

"it must be cold out there" Jason said out of
nowhere. Jai and i both turned to look at him knowing full
well what he meant. "really?" I asked wondering
why Jason was looking at the guys junk

"i'm just saying maybe that is why she is so angry"
he somehow kept a straight face when he said it.

Jai and i burst into laughter and watched the ridicules
scene through the window until the constables (there are
really constables in Houston) showed up and got the situation
under control. They put the naked man in the back of one car
and the weapon wielding wild woman of another.

"only in Texas" I muttered and turned from the
window to go forage for some breakfast. I was soon joined
by my two friends and we all piled around the kitchen table
to woof down some bacon, eggs, sausage, and toast. It
was kind of weird living with two other guys and dangerous
all it took was one match to start a brush fire.

"are there any good strip clubs around here?"
Jai asked (hear the match being lit?)

"There is one right down the street by the AMC theatre
called Splendor or Splendors " Jason mumbled over
some wheat toast.

"what's it like?" he asked. Jason just
shrugged so Jai turned to me. "dunno never been"
I told him

"we need to change that. Tonight we go" he said
taking a giant drink of his orange juice. I knew i should
have argued against it, but eh what the hell.

"i have seen this movie before, no stripper orgies
this time please" i told them in as serious a tone as
i could muster. I made sure to make eye contact with both
of them so they knew i was serious. They just laughed at me.

Splendors was and extremely upscale place from the looks
of it. It was a giant grandly decorated white building with
white Christmas lights twinkling along the awning. There
was a man dressed in a black suit standing under the red velvet
looking canopy. He had his back to the twin mahogany colored
front doors and did his best to look menacing. Jai being
the amicable guy that he was easily made friends with the
doorman. We stood outside for 5 minutes talking with the
guy named Edgar and joking about random things. Jason and
I just exchanged glances and laughed.

It was good to have the trilogy back together again. Jason
was the guy most likely to end up gracing the pages of an Abercrombe
and Fitch catalog. I was the lucky one that seemed to get
us in the best kind of trouble. Jai was the voice of the group,
his easy going ways and always smiling face gained us friends
easily. He was the bravest of us all and had no qualms about
sitting down at a table full of strangers and making new
friends.

We were all completely different but when you got down to
it we always knew our back was being watched. If one of us
got in trouble that meant all of us were going to get in trouble.
Or at the very least help the other get out of it with the least
amount of damage possible. For those who didn't know
us and met us for the first time probably thought we were
crazy. Jason was easily the most fashion conscious of the
group and easily caught glances as he walked through a room.
You know the type, perfect hair, perfect clothes, colgate
smile. Yup the kind we all hate.

Jai's style was whatever was clean at the moment. He
didn't care what he looked like and always liked to
dress comfortably. I am not even sure he knew how to tie a
tie into anything but a noose. His dark hair was wavy and
always looked like it was a sculpted mess on purpose. His
facial hair depended on how lazy he was feeling at the time,
but always preferred to rock the chops.

Me? Honestly my style changes a lot. If i was dating someone
they always seemed to enjoy dressing me to their liking.
I honestly didn't mind and it usually meant i was well
dressed so win win. I was quiet most of the time and usually
just let my two friends introduce us to the world in whatever
manner they seemed fit. Sometimes it would explode in our
faces but hey it made life interesting. Since i tended to
be the quiet one it gave me an air of pseudo coolness that
would be dispelled the moment i opened my mouth. The three
of us together however usually meant some kind of craziness
was bound to happen. Tonight was no different.

As we walked into the massive double floored club we were
assaulted by the smell of peaches and stale alcohol. Jai
inhaled deeply and patted his stomach "ahhh love
the smell of strip clubs" The red and black industrial
carpeted floor looked dingy from thousands of shoes and
high heels. The one stage was set on the back wall of the place,
the back wall was mirrored and had white twinkling lights
framing the massive mirror. The t shaped stage had the same
lights along the edge as a safety measure for drunk strippers
and not so much style. I was surprised to see no stripper
poles anywhere in sight.

A long dark wood bar was off to the right side of the stage
as we looked at it. A short latin girl in a red and black corset
and wore more glitter then a kindergarten art project paced
back and forth. I assumed that she wore high heels but her
lack of height still made it hard for her to reach across
the bar top. Dark wood cabinets with mirrors and shelves
were lined with every kind of liquor you could imagine.
I couldn't help but wonder how this short girl could
reach anything above the counter top.

A few patrons scattered around the tables and half moon
black cloth chairs on the main floor. Behind us and stretching
the rest of the club was an upper deck of chairs and tables
that offered a little bit of privacy. A set of stairs led
up to a duplicated room above the raised platform. "man
this place is big" Jason said letting out a whistle
to emphasize his surprise. Jai stepped forward and made
his way to the bar with a bounce in his step. I don't know
why but it made me nervous to see him so excited about it all.

Jason and I followed and the three of us bellied up to the
bar and sat down. "hey cher when does this place kick
off" Jai asked loudly over dance music i had never
heard before. She looked confused at his comment and just
blinked. "Cher means sweetheart or darling"
Jason told her just in case she was confused. The little
latin bartender let out a laugh "I thought i knew you!
My name is Cher" she laughed.

I don't know why but this just filled me with even more
dread. I mean come on what are the odds of her actually being
named Cher?

Jai saw his opening and jumped at it with both feet. "Don't
listen to them Cher i am a psychic and i came here knowing
you would be here" he told her. I think i actually saw
a twinkle in his eye as he flashed his best lopsided Han Solo
grin at her. I could see her tanned cheeks blush and she shifted
her weight back and forth on her heels. Jai ordered us our
usual, three shots of rumplemintz, three budlights, and
just for good measure another round of shots when we were
done with our firsts. Jai handed the girl a 100 dollar bill
and told her to keep it "just don't forget about
us when this place gets packed" he joked hoping he
had just bought her love.

Jason and i turned around in our chairs to see the stage while
Jai worked his charm on his Cher. "This should get
fun" Jason said leaning toward me so that Cher couldn't
over hear us. I could only nod in response and hope that there
would be no limo's involved this time. Even though
I was making good money between my two jobs it was nothing
like the paycheck i had before when i footed the bill for
our rockstar stripper fest back in Minnesota.

Jason and I watched a pudgy little redhead come out from
the silver bead colored door that lead to backstage. She
was wearing lime green micro panties and a bra that was made
up of two tiny triangles of fabric. We had never asked the
doorman Edgar if this place was full nude or topless or what.
I honestly didn't know anything about Texas strip
clubs so at the very least this would be a new experience
for me.

After the first song had ended and the little redhead had
collected the few dollars that had been thrown on stage
she reached back and undid her top. A hard rock song that
i didn't recognize came on and she threw her body around
the stage like Flashdance gone wrong. I watched as her slightly
swollen body seemed to convulse and twist at unnatural
angles to the pounding hard rock beat. Her large breasts
seemed to defy gravity like they had been frozen in place
"boob job" i thought to myself. I was also starting
to wonder if this girl was going to be the example for a Sunday
night at this place.

The next hour we spent getting lubricated and poorer by
the minute. We mostly talked to the bartender or each other
about the class of stripper we were being exposed to. We
didn't plan out staying out too late so we showed up
at the club around 8pm. It wasn't until around 10 or
10:30 that people started filling in the empty seats on
the main floor and the lower deck. Thankfully we started
seeing new girls come through the silver beads and they
gradually went up in scale. At about 11 the view became one
of 31 flavors, women of all ethnic backgrounds, of all shapes
and sizes, and of all beauty joined the crowd.

"the 20 buck hustle" Jai yelled over Nickleback.
We watched the thong wearing butterflies go from table
to table. Some taking seats in chairs or on laps while others
had their company politely turned down. I am not going to
say i was disappointed that none of them seemed to come up
to us but...... My two friends noticed it too and Jai turned
to ask Cher and a new ebony bartender that had suddenly appeared
out of nowhere what was up.

"do we look poor or scary or something" he asked
them. The little latin girl shook her head and leaned across
the bar so that only we could hear her. "our manager
always tells us to talk to the guys we wouldn't date."
the look of confusion on our faces seemed to tell her we needed
a better explanation. "always go for the guys who
don't get laid and you will get the tips. Go for the guys
who do get laid you don't get anything but asked out"
she said making it clear. I had never thought of it that way,
i had to admit i was not the best strip club tipper. "makes
sense" i told her back.

It's not that i wanted to be surrounded by strippers
but geez at least one saying hi wouldn't have hurt.
It's funny how when they hound you for lap dances you
don't like it, but when they don't talk to you it's
even worse. As has been true my entire life when i drink i
start making bad choices while thinking stupid thoughts
and sadly my two friends never seemed to stop me. As the girls
walked by in tight tiny dresses or in just stripper thongs
and bras i couldn't help but look and maybe ogle a wee
bit.

I have no type i guess you could say, it's whatever grabs
my attention. If they have something special about them
that sticks out i can't help but be curious about them.
Being the pig that i am i couldn't stop staring at the
bare asses and contour of the stretching fabric as it clung
to their pussies like liquid latex. In moments of perfect
tipsy clarity i realized how much i truly loved women. They
were so perfectly made, they excite and tantalize with
their movements. They intoxicate and enthrall with their
scent, they capture you with a single word or smile. They
are the perfect creatures, and God's perfect assassins
of anything rational.

I had been getting closer to La'tifa and Megan and somehow
managed to think there was a future with them. I tricked
myself into thinking there would be a happy little relationship
with one or the other and had somehow blocked their boyfriends
from my mind. If i thought about it i would know the chances
of me getting serious with either one of them was ridicules.
I had kept my conversations with Riko and Robin short and
did my best not to flirt. But why? Why would i do that? I am
single they are not. None of the girls save Daniella had
been single, all i had done was waste time with empty fantasies.
Ok maybe not empty the sex was epic, but still.

"dude you alright" Jason asked. He shoulder
bumped me to break me from my revere. "yeah sorry just
zoneing for a sec" I replied shaking off my thoughts.
I really needed to stop getting involved with taken women.
The problem was Megan had some strange effect on me and it
was going to be hard to shake. Again i had to shake my head
to get to thoughts out of my head. The music flooded back
into my ears as my senses slowly came back to reality.

"Devil in Me" by the 22-20's blared over
the clubs speakers with the sound of a reinvented Rolling
Stones type groove. From behind the shimmering silver
beaded curtain a very tall silhouetted slender form appeared.
On what easily had to be 7 or 8 inch heels the girl burst through
the beads and whipped her amazing body onto the stage. The
shock of seeing the sexy amazon seemed to take the collective
breath out of the room including my friends and I.

She lifted her arms high into the air and intertwined them
like two snakes twisting and turning against each others
bodies. She arched her back and lifted up on one leg while
gracefully spinning on one high heeled foot. Her arms slowly
fell to her narrow sides and seemed to almost stalk the stage
as she moved toward the front of it. Reaching the end she
stood with her feet shoulder width apart and put her balled
fists on her hips standing defiantly.

Drinking in her body seemed to make me dizzier than the several
drinks we had already consumed. To say she gave off a goth
look would be an understatement in the very least. Her jet
black hair was cut to the tops of her shoulders and her bangs
were cut straight across reminding me of a pin up girl or
one of those noir retro girls. Her pale skin shimmered with
light as the clubs spot lights caught the glitter and set
fire to her shoulders.

Her face was absolutely beautiful in every way right down
to the perfect full pouty lips with a slight line indentation
down the middle of her bottom lip. Her dark black eyebrows
were perfectly sculpted and arched over her dark eyes.
She had done her eye makeup in an elongated Egyptian style
giving her an even more exotic if not dangerous look. Her
face was almost heart shaped and high cheek bones gave her
the look of a fashion models that grace the covers of Vogue.
Her young face showed innocence while at the same time flashed
mischievous deviant.

She wore a corset bra made of black leather with little silver
studs over the cups. The tightness of it made her porcelain
breasts spill over the top and seemed to glow in the light
of the club. Her long torso tapered in before gently flaring
back out into her perfect leather shorts covered hips.
I could see a massive gray and black tattoo along her left
side but it was hard to make out anything other then a form
of a woman. Her tiny leather booty shorts matched her corset
bra and had the same silver studs glinting in the spot lights.
The shorts were so tight that i imagined i could see the outline
of her pussy lips straining against them.

Her long legs were bare down to her unique style high heel
stripper shoes. They had the same giant base and long skinny
heel but that is where the normal stopped. Across the toe
was a broad strap of shiny black leather. Shoe laces wove
up the top of her foot and connected to what looked like a
black shiny ankle brace. The rest of the shoe reminded me
of something i had worn for ankle support for football back
in high school with it's open heel and support above
the ankle.

She seemed to scan the crowd as if to make sure everyone's
eyes were solely paying attention to her before she started
to move again. Her body followed the beat of the retro style
music twisting this way and that. She dropped to the floor
in a loud crack of heel and body hitting the hard black floor
of the stage. Her long legs opened wide as she laid on her
back and she brought them up and behind her head. She continued
to show off her uncanny flexibility by doing splits in every
way possible and bringing each leg behind her head one at
a time or at the same time. Several guys along the front of
the stage hooted and hollered after she had her legs tucked
behind her head and she acted like she was playing with herself.

When the song abruptly cut off she stood up and runway walked
toward the back of the stage. The clubs D.J's voice
boomed over our heads

"Gentlemen, gentlemen put your hands together for
Demona. This gothic beauty's stands 5'7 and weighs
123lbs, her measurements are a tantalizing 34b-24-34
and guys she is built for sin. Gentlemen show your appreciate
of this delicious little demon and remember the lady loves
to be bought drinks" Immediately after his voice
cut off Type O Negative's "love you to death"
creeped across the speakers. The creepy music made the
hair on the back of my neck stand up and thundered through
my body.

Demona turned slowly toward the front of the stage and with
one finger pulled the strings that held her corset bra to
her body. Her perfectly proportioned breasts defied gravity
and stood proudly on her young chest. She slid her hands
up her body and cupped each one before shifting her body
into a painfully sexy pose. As she slinked forward on the
stage slowly the breath seemed to escape my lungs.

"you want a shot" i heard a voice say. I was wondering
if that was someone i knew talking? "hey you want a
shot?" the voice said again. "Hey" i felt
an elbow jab into my ribs. I turned toward the voice and saw
Jason looking amused at my bewilldered and confused face.
"you want a shot?" he asked. I just nodded in
response. For the next hour i couldn't take my eyes
off of her and even i admit it was creepy.

I watched as she butterflied from table to table asking
the usual "you want a lap dance honey". Some
took her up on it and they vanished to the first floor raised
platform to get their dance. Other times she would sit at
the table with a single guy and talk to him for a while. I watched
how easy she would smile at them and how her face would light
up when she laughed. "God she is beautiful"
kept repeating in my mind.

As the bewitching hour closed in on us it had become apparent
that the three of us were wearing invisible signs that said
"do not approach" The entire time we had been
there not a single girl other than the two bartenders had
talked to us. I had managed to turn myself around so that
I could stop being the creepy guy staring at the stripper
in tiny clothing. Jai had become almost instant friends
with the little latina bartender and somehow managed to
get us a few free rounds of drinks. I was just resigning myself
to ending up broke and tipsy when i felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey Cher this guy wants to buy me a couple of cherry
bombs. Make em real would ya babe"

I turned to my right to see who was using me for balance and
was shocked, excited, and horrified to see it was the girl
i had been staring at the whole night. Being this close to
her I noticed a few things that I had missed before. She had
blood red contacts in making her even more menacing looking.
A small diamond stud pierced the right side of her nose and
another under her bottom lip in the middle. I subconsciously
rubbed where my soul patch was as I stared at her lips and
the piercing underneath it.

"hi" she said brightly

"hi" i squeaked ever so manly back.

She let out a little laugh at the obvious crack in my voice.
Having her this close I could easily smell the spicy perfume
she was wearing. It tickled my nose as I inhaled her scent
deeply. "how's business?" I asked. My
inner voice immediately started screaming at me "how's
business? what in the fuck was that dumbass?" An amused
look spread across her painfully beautiful face "not
to bad. How's the drinking going?" She asked
back.

"splendidly thank you" I responded. Again
my inner voice chastised me "splendidly? Think before
you speak dumbass!"

She nodded making her black as night hair shimmer underneath
the lights and let out a little laugh "well that's
good hun". The bartender appeared with her drinks
and she took them happily from our new friend. She turned
toward me and flashed me an extremely cute smile "it
was nice meeting you, don't drink too much now"
She said in her silky smooth angelic like voice.

"Dave, and it's ok I am a lush" I blurted
out. The inner voice didn't need to remind me of how
epically I was failing at the moment. The terror and horror
of my awkwardness must have spread across my face. Demona's
brow furrowed and she let out a loud laugh "ok Dave
the lush" Have you ever been pulled over by the cops when you knew you
had done something wrong? That wave of fear that rolls through
your body like being dipped feet first into a hot tub? I felt
that.

As she walked away I folded my arms across the top of the bar
and let my head fall onto them and just groaned. I heard the
bartender laugh and then just cussed in silence at my lack
of suave. I don't know why I crashed and burned so bad,
the only thing I could come up with was that I had been surprised
by her appearance. Jason and Jai had witnessed the whole
thing and knew me well enough to know that if something like
this had happened the girl must have had some kind of impact
on me. Jason just patted me on the back and ordered our last
round of drinks before closing time.

As the last song was played and the thong covered goddesses
vanished into the depths of the strip club we paid our tab.
Jason and I got up to leave and started to walk toward the
door. "Be right with you guys" Jai called after
us. Jason and I exchanged glances knowing full well that
he was going to make a move on the bartender. "at least
somebody did well tonight" I muttered.

Jason patted me on the back "aww buddy when we get home
we will get you some ice cream to make you feel better"
he joked. "ok" I played along and hung my head.
We didn't have wait long before Jai came trotting out
of the club towards us. "how late can you buy booze
in this town" he asked as he came to a halt in front of
us. "8 or 9 pm for package" I told him. "shit"
was all he said back.

"I have cases of samples in the trunk of my car and we
have almost as much booze in our house as Bourbon Street
has on it's shelves" Jason said "last thing
we need to do is buy any" With that Jai smiled an overly
happy smile "good we gonna need it"

"What have you done?" I asked him

"Made some new friends" he answered

"We having after hours?" Jason asked

"Nights not over yet brothers" Jai laughed
and put his arms around our shoulders "just like old
times"

"uh oh" escaped from my mouth

Thank you very much for sticking with me. I know this is kind
of a long set up for this part of the timeline. Not to give
spoilers but Morgan/Demona plays a big role in this part
of my life. So this long explanation is just introducing
her and the craziness to everyone. Thanks for sticking
in there with me. I very much appreciate it.
