AFF keeps your profile on even after you try to delete it. They do this to women in particular to make the site seem as though there are plenty of women to keep men on the hook and hopeful. I've tried to delete my profile three times now, yet still am getting notices that I have mail. I decided to fill into profile with this message to let everyone know of this problem.
