Educated, professional man with tastes to match. Am impossible to offend and highly resilient. Also very caring, capable, and self aware. I tend to put people at ease in social situations. Analytical, observant, and curious about the world around me. Likely to be seen as the strong silent type if we must boil things down to easy metaphors. I’m a liberal humanist and care a great deal about living in a society that’s open and practical. I dislike anything that reeks of doctrine or righteousness on any side of an argument. I see the long arc of progress and don’t get discouraged by temporal ups and downs of this long story we’re all involved in. I balance idealism with realism in all things and change my attitude when the facts change. While I came to find myself a bit later that has been the arc of my life and so fits in with my peral narrative quite well. My moniker simply states what has now become quite obvious to myself and those who I've had the pleasure to unveil myself to. While I’m quite proud of my achievements and what I’ve endured and survived in life I’m also quite humble and have a healthy dose of self reflection to keep me honest and constantly in search of where I have opportunities to learn and grow. This is what helps keep me grounded to real people with real problems and not some abstracted dominant perality that is difficult to connect with.
