I once did a stint in my younger days on top of Hillbrow tower in Johannesburg South Africa. This was when I still worked for the telecommunications department in 80's.

The Hillbrow Tower is pretty high, Antenna spire 269 m (883 ft) and the Top
floor 204 m (669 ft). That makes the steel structure on top of the tower 65m (214 ft). Right at the top of the structure is a red flashing light to warn aircraft.

As I was climbing with various ladders from section to section
