Meet our our new advice columnist for 2008, Vivid Girl Monique Alexander!

Monique Alexander is a classically beautiful California girl. The 22-year-old, 5'5" blonde hails from Sacramento, where she grew up as a shy and private person who has blossomed into a confident, outgoing adult with arresting sexual allure.

She signed an exclusive contract with Vivid Entertainment in late 2004 and began work on her first project for Vivid titled, "Lexie and Monique Love Rocco" co-starring the legendary performer Rocco Siffredi. The film is directed by award-winning Paul Thomas.

Monique became interested in a career in adult entertainment after she began dancing in a Sacramento gentlemen's club at age 18. This led to photo shoots for men's magazines, followed by roles in soft-core erotic movies. She started her career in adult movies doing only girl-girl scenes.

When she is not working, Monique loves to let loose by going out dancing with her friends. "I am the one who gets up and dances on a chair or table at a club. Dancing is also a form of exercise for me since I don't work out in a gym."

"I am a pretty determined person and I'm going to do the best I can at Vivid," says Monique. "The prestige and security of being a Vivid Girl will allow me to indulge in my other passion by taking some courses in interior decorating."

Here's a sneak peak of Monique's new advice column to come in the New Year:

Question:

My wife has always taken on a more submissive role in our relationship. Recently the subject of collars came up. She is leery of wearing one, thinking that they're demeaning. I see it only as visible expression of the bond already between us. She plays the part already without it. And from the way she loves some other aspects of submission, I really think that she would enjoy this next step once taken. I have let her know that it is her choice in this, as I would never want there to be any resentment over it. I look at it as part of being a good master. How do I alleviate her fears and convince to take the next step to what she's already committed to in her heart and mind?

Monique answers:

Well, it sounds to me as if your wife isn't quite there yet. I know as a woman I hate it when my partner tries to pressure me into something that I'm not ready for. I automatically shut down and don't want to do it at all.

Next time you bring it up, you should make it seem more like a fantasy of yours. You know, make it more like you want to role-play; that way she'll be less likely to feel demeaned and it's clear that it's totally her decision. The bottom line is, the more you push, it the less chance you're going to have of making it happen, so give her a chance to digest it and hopefully your fantasy of her wearing a collar will become her fantasy as well.

Question:

What do I do? My husband wants me to fuck a very large man in front of him. We know I can take it because he has bought me toys that are HUGE and I've gradually been able to take them. I've always been faithful to him. How do I get over the shyness? I want to please him more than anything and of course it sounds great to me if I can get past this hurdle. Any suggestions?

Monique answers:

When I'm feeling shy or a little uncertain I like to get all glammed up! Nothing can stop me when I'm feeling sexy, so wear something that makes you feel confident and gorgeous, and try to find your inner sex kitten.

If, after all that, you're still feeling a little shy then have a glass of wine or a cocktail to help you with your nerves. I know it always helps me.
