Busy Contributing

Well, I have been one very busy bee, lately. (when I wasn't sick)

Been moving in "officially". Which meant, basically, transferring my junk to hinkawaza Hinky's place so it can mingle with his junk. So far, most of it's mingling with his garage..baby steps.....

This, also, meant transferring the most important {and probably most frightening}
"junk" of all: The Teenager!!!

The timing was bad, but it couldn't wait any longer....Why? You ask. Well, let me tell ya ~ the house is in the midst of an....overhaul.... shall we say. "Her" bathroom is nowhere near finished ~ so we're all sharing. (Scary in and of itself) The roof is about to be replaced ~ which will be the time for me to re-wire the whole damn house, since, currently there are only a couple of outlets in the house that are grounded.

A few decent, but time consuming, jobs have popped up for us. Which is great ~ but, delays the necessary "non-income" work needed at home.
A new business venture is on the brink of fruition and will require a lot of time and hard work from both of us. Again, GREAT for our future, just don't know where we'll find time to finish repairs and remodeling at home.

I'm sure I could go on ~ so, then, you ask why move the "dreaded teen" in now? ~
Because she was getting OUT OF HAND! (Aside from the fact that she is my child, therefore, my responsibility)

Unfortunately, while she was staying with my mom, she pretty much did as she pleased. It seems her pleasure didn't involve attending school quite as often as the State would like her to. Most of the time, I knew when and why she didn't go. But, even when it was a legit reason, she neglected to get a note from me or my mother. This led to an abundance of unexcused absences. She, of course, proceeded to help the process along by skipping a few days, as well.

Fortunately for me, I was at my mother's house when the letter came ~ warning that she could not miss another day without a Dr's note or we would be going to court. WE! Not her ~ not me ~ WE!

Well, sure enough, an absolute disaster of a morning led to her absence.....

I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to jail! (A bit melodramatic, yes, but, effective!) Needless to say, I soon received my summons ~ along with hers. The charges were, of course, "Truancy" for her. For me ~ "Contributing to the Truancy of a Minor"!!!!

To be continued..............

Yagotta get it soft and wet so we can kick/stick it

I wish you peace with the complications. And most of all hope that things will work out.
