Common-Fucking-Courtesy

So...I'm in Walgreens on my lunch break today. I just needed a few things..which I found within the first couple minutes..so I was wandering around..looking for other thing I could waste my money on. I'm over by the paper supplies when I hear these two young boys talking rather loudly. naturally I look over. I'd guess them to be between 13 or 15. One has a red tank top on and incredibly baggy jeans, while the other one has a white tank top and gym shorts on (he's wearing a upside-down backwards visor - so I'm automatically annoyed). They're standing there talking really loudly, calling each other :motherfuckers" and using bitch as often as most people use the word "the." I just shake my head at their fashion and language choices and go back to reading the funny birthday cards, when I see an elderly lady walk up to them. So, I slip into James Bond mode and watch them over the top of the card I'm pretending to read.

She asks them if they know where she could find the printer paper. Baggy-pants just ignores her and visor-boy halfway points down the isle. The poor old woman (who is obviously hard of hearing) asks him where again. Visor-boy points again..and I'm putting the card back in the rack so I can go help her. Well..the damn card wouldn't go back into it's slot right, so it took me a few more seconds than I planned. in the meantime, she asked them a third time...and then baggy-pants turns around and yells "They're down there ya deaf bitch!"

At this point, I see a store employee walking towards them as fast as I'm walking towards the lady. The poor woman has her hand up over her mouth now, and has the most shocked look on her face. I walk over and put my hand on her arm and tell her that I'll show her while I am doing my best "death stare" at the little bastards. As she's walking away from them with me, a store employee comes up to them and tell them they have to leave, which causes even more colorful language and loud conversations, but he eventually gets them out towards the entrance. I help her find the ream of paper she was looking for...she thanks me..(was the sweetest lady in the whole world) and, i think was still kind of shocked. I apologized for what they had said to her...but I felt just awful for her!

My question is this: What in the crap has happened to common-fucking-courtesy? To NOT calling perfect strangers who mean no harm and just need a bit of assistance, bitches? What happened to being a GOOD PERSON? What happened to being NICE? What about: please, thank you, yes sir, no ma-aim, excuse me, pardon....stuff like that. Maybe I was just brought up to be "extra-polite" because I would never ever dream of speaking to people the way I see others do sometimes. It seems like everyone has this "looking out for number one" and "it's all about me" mentality..that they don't care how rude or unpleasant or downright mean and horrible they are.

(((((((((((((GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)))))))))))))))))

Please, if you read this....be NICE to people!

They probably don't have parents that care enough about them to show them how to act! It's sad! At least there are people out there like you, you're just few & far between!

Parents are unwilling or unable to discipline their children, so add your "death stare" to their guardians. As far as the kids go, karma's the real bitch.

I hate it when Fucktards have no decency! The little cretins need to learn respect. When I was that age if I said something like that whoever heard me say it would of whipped my ass. Then they would have taken me home to tell my mom. She would of whipped my ass not only for what I had said but another one for inconveniencing the person who told her about it . Parents do not discipline there kids anymore they act like they are scared it will hurt there kids feelings and they don't want to do that! Climbing off my soap box now thank You very much

Yea some of todays youth are just little bastards that need a good asskickin, but today you get arrested for disciplining kids one of the biggest reasons they act the way they do.

geez pottymouth! You used to be such a good girl... I remember the death stare - it is not a fun thing to experience. Good job helping the lady though...you always were a softie. As for the kids, they need an appointment with a hand on the back of their asses immediately! They probably don't know how lucky they were that the store clerk got them out of there before you came back - their ears would still be burning!

Kids learn things from what they watch on TV, Music videos, movies and such. Parents don't spend the time with their kids to teach them right from wrong because most parents are busy working a job or two and can't be bothered with their kids. It's easier to shove them in front of the TV or a video game then to parent. I can go on and on about this topic. But honestly, I know some adults that are just as bad as these kids are.

I was raised to treat people the way I want to be treated. That means being courteous and respectful.I am like you and would feel embarrassed even though I dont know the kids.It embarrasses me as a person when people treat others that way
