offensive pics and dicks

Papyrina blogged on a pic that apparently has many folks upset and writing asking that the magazine remove it

nope, not a dick
nope, not violent
nope, not dog pooh

the pic is of a mother breastfeeding her child

really now folks - get a life

this reminded me of an incident when i was breastfeeding my son. he was born in June and one day in July, his dad took over and sent me off to have a nice leisurely dinner with a galpal. hotter than hell out and i was wearing a gauzy indian dress.

i should set this up better. before i had a child i had no breasts to speak of. two lovely and very sensitive swellings but a bra was so not necessary. then i had a child. all of a sudden i had these huge things and i kept bumping into them with my arms and thinking jeeze, how do people deal with this. because i was breast feeding, they would fill regularly with milk and get as hard as could be. i was enormously proud of my milk supply .

so, off i go to dinner and i'm having a lovely time, even a bit tipsy after a glass of wine since i haven't had one for nearly a year. there are two men sitting diagonally across from me and my friend and they are smiling and semi flirting with us. it felt wonderful. somewhere in the restaurant, a baby cried.

now, if you're a guy, this will need explanation so go ask a woman. but for us woman, we all know that just the sound of a baby crying while your lactating will make your milk let down.
and when your milk lets down...........

so there i am, sitting , sipping and i feel my breasts go all achy and my girlfriend gasps and points and i look down.

two arcing geysers shooting milk right through the gauze dress - like some beautiful fountain.

now, had i not been a bit tipsy, i might have been mortified. instead i got a serious case of hysterical laughter, aided no doubt by the fact that my gf was trying to catch the milk in two wine glasses.

the two men are appalled. they gasp. they blush. they stand and race to the safety of the bar.

meanwhile, the milk keeps coming and i am crying i am laughing so hard and all these lovely women gather , making a wall of beautiful women around me. and we laugh and pat, laugh and pat, everyone telling their booby stories at the same time. finally, enough has been expressed so that it stops arcing out. and we all start to wind down a bit. there are about 10 of us now, joined in spirit so we settle in, order wine and chocolate desserts and have an amazing time.

i felt like a goddess

I breast fed both of my children. It was a wonderful experience and quite convenient too as there were no bottles to warm or clean. Just open a shirt and pop the kid on. I used to carry a blanket over my arm just in case. And If that had happened in another country other then the US, nobody would have batted an eyelash, WE.

I tried untouched goat milk once. Totally gagged. But haven't tried the straight up cow milk.
