The Rescue Of Mr. Batty McBat

So I caught the nutcase of a bat in a net. I put him in a pot. And I took him out to Parfrey's Glen where he misserably sat in the rain, not quite happy about the relocation. But the "Critters That Don't Belong In Here" Relocation Program was a success. He got there alive, and I'm sure he'll make a nice new home there.

I also did two room by room searches for any more of the buggers, and all seems clear. So my house is once again bat free.

Hopefully this is the last time. Once I put chickenwire under the few grates that bats can fit through I hope there won't be anymore, because I can't for the life of me figure out where else they could be getting in!

I almost feel like I'm getting to be a pro at this though. How sad is that?

Me too. Even though this house is pretty empty now without the ex, it's still not big enough for me and a bat. So he had to find a new home.

Thanks. Yeah. I figure as long as he's not rabid, might as well honor his spirit by finding him more appropriate home than mine. And bats are pretty cute little buggers. Kind of like hamsters with wings.
