The Gillette Fusion Conclusion

Being that I'm shaving again, it came time to pick up some new blades for my razor. But when I went out, I instead picked up the new Gillette Fusion Power. I figured it was probably all hype, but what the hell, you know?

Well after my first use, I have to say, I'm sold!

I've never had a razor work so smoothly. The head rests and flexes just right. And while five blades seems excessive to the point of silly, I have to say, they do a good job. It slides smoothly, gets the hair the first time, traps shaving cream pretty well so that you're not left unprotected, and just simply works in record time. All of which means much less irritation, and much less time spent shaving.

You really can't beat that.

All I can say, please do not drop this razor in the shower. I did and it fell down the entire length of my leg. It looked like the shower scene in psycho.

I'm still not convinced...I'm gonna shave my girl tonight...with a Gillette Fusion Power and see what she says...if it works there, it'll work anywhere right?

Oh yeah, and one thing to be reeeeeeealy careful about is that trimmer blade on the back. That got my finger good because I forgot it was there. That thing needs a cover.

Why can't I stop thinking of the Bob & Tom skit "The Decapitator" 55-blade razor whenever I see the Fusion?

Sure, I use the Mach3 ... but it's got 3. Five plus one in the back? That's just asking for trouble, as Rowan said!
