Well, my new toy came in. Instead of replacing my burned up TV with an actual TV for a couple of hundred bucks and taking up yet more space in my room, I've replaced it with a TV card for my computer for only fifty bucks. (I could have gone cheaper, but I wanted something with decent quality.)

It took some setting up, mostly playing with the antenna, but now I've got it all working. It's actually not bad. And it only took me staying up an hour past my bedtime.

I'm such a geek.

I did the same. Running linux limits crashes so my system is so much more reliable....

vrec Glad your new toys are working out. My new toy came today also. My brother brought over my new computer. He built for me. It is so much faster! I think it said 10mbps before and it is 100 now. I know there is alot faster ones but this is great for me. He did not have time to join it to my old one. My son is going to use the old one. They are in the same room. SINGle said I should get this thing where you do not even have to plug them together to get on my charter line. But then I could not get the info unless I emailed it right? The floppy does not work on the old one. I also have a large monitor if you want it. Cost is a major factor!
