Long Hair

Once again, Vancouver BC's FlorelliMs. Florelli has come up with a subject that is near and dear to my heart. I have to repost some of my thoughts and perhaps expand upon them!

I had a four day date with a woman from Finland. She had short hair and frankly that was a real switch for me. I love and desire my woman to have long flowing hair. She told me that american beauticians didn't have anything on European artists of the hair. I couldn't think that looking at her hair, there wasn't a whole lot of talent needed. I found that the passion that she exuded more than made up for the lack of long hair.

Quietly, I was disappointed though, it was one less thing that I had to touch in that certain sensual way.

Let me make this clear, despite the one physical disappointment, we had a great time together because we established chemistry. I am sure there were things about me that disappointed her.

I love long hair...to be able to run my fingers through it, down it, in it. It gives me hours of simple pleasure each week with my companion. I remember how each time that my ex cut her hair short, I felt like it was a message to me. "I am not feeling good about myself, and it will directly affect you".

She knew how much I valued her long hair, but I tried not to take it personally. I know that when it is short, it is easier to take care of, but there must be a certain pride in the beauty and sensuality a woman must feel with her hair flowing down over and beyond her shoulders.

Let me make this clear, I don't believe that she ever cut it to spite me, but a couple of times it sure felt like it.

I am currently seeing a woman with fairly short hair. The other day, she showed me her driver's license when it was much longer. I stared at it longingly, thinking about how much enjoyment I get out of running my fingers through it now. I said something and narrowly avoided the proverbial "dog house".

No matter what your inclinations are, you had better be satisfied with what is there in the here and now or be prepared to suffer the consequences if something out there seems just a little bit better!

Thanks Flo for the inspiration!

I have always had long hair and hated the way it looked when I had it cut short many years ago!

You have really nice hair...big surprise comment from me. I hope that it is worth the care you put into it. It is certainly a valuable thing to a guy like me.

Thanks for dropping by my blog!

I do not have the guts to cut mine....I had been asked to have it cut and donate it to "Locks of Love" but even then...I could not do it.....but you are right....it is a pain in the proverbial arse to take care of but it is also really sweet to hear little girls say..."Hey Mommy, I want her hair, it is soooo pretty!"

i consider my hair short now...it is down to my bra band.. i remember having hair as long as freetime...

my dear friend don would brush my hair while we watched a movie.. (but he's gone and got himself all blissfully happy with a nice sounding lady, so the "benefits" are gone.. i am happy for him..) he would wash my hair when we showered too.. pleasant intimacy..

That sounds like a lot of fun. I have soaped another's beautiful body in the shower and bath, but I don't recall ever having washed their hair. It sounds intriguing!

I've had my hair brushed before. Can't remember if it's been washed by another.

I love facial hair on men. numerous ex's, having discovered that, have happily stopped shaving for me. I never asked them to, but they knew my like and that i was appreciative. And they didn't mind making the change, temporarily or otherwise. Wonderful thing about hair: it can be cut short, or grown long. It has nothing to do with "being satisfied with the here and now". if you weren't satisfied: you wouldn't be with the person. And if length of hair is a deal breaker for you in any way: then she's better off without you.

something i like doing... caressing my lover's body with the length of my hair (my hair is thigh length). maybe that's just wierd though.

Hey Volcano,

My pleasure...it is wonderful to hear a man's point of view and to genuinely express what I have loved since I was a little girl....
The men in my life have begged me to never cut my hair...It is almost like a "magic charm" on me...TY for your visit and comments.

Your hair is beautiful and it would sadden me if you ever cut it. I believe is is part of the sensual spirit that you wear!

ohhhhh!!! that reminded me... i once... well, i made a guy totally in awe, and crying, and half in love, by braiding a small bit of hair while walking with him. he was admiring my hair in the sunlight. then i cut off the braid and gave it to him. I think he still has it to this day.

There is just something very sad about the whole thing...the hair cut...his reaction...

I demand a recount.
