April September relationships

On one of the Groups I am a member of, we started a discussion on the challenges these relationships face recently. I made a comment, and then thought it would be interesting to get a wider set of responses than would be available from the group. Here are my comments - I would value your comments.

On the sex front, there are many advantages in April October relationships - not the least of which is the lack of urgency on the part of the man. We have time to ensure our Lady is both aroused and satiated without having to have penile penetration multiple times. (many Ladies believe that to be a nice thing - perhaps some Ladies could comment)

As for the social issue - come on fellas - don't you just love all those envious looks from other men? The older women who look with their 'tut- tut' expression have probably dried up years ago (if you don't use it you lose it) and become prudes, often despite the fact that they were as ful of abandon as anyone else in their younger days.

Finally a comment on the eastern convention of older man younger woman. It stems from an interesting social norm that the groom must have a home ready for the bride to move into - furniture and all - as well as the ability to give her the bridal gifts that are expected (middle classes usually expect about 20 oz of gold in a necklace! to offset her 'dowry'). As parents like to see their girls' children as soon as possible - children and family still being th3e heart of their lives - there are often few women available of a man's age when he has the financial stability to look for a bride - hence the role of matchmaker and arranged marriages which - yes it's true - usually go the distance as love follows familiarity!

I don't claim to be a "lady." I'm a BiPolyBabe, and I will say that, for me, an April guy works better for my September days because there is no damn way that I am going to be satiated without very energetic penetration for a very long time.

However, I am sure there are other ladies who are not such dick hounds. And I do believe that younger women (around 25) are at the peak of their receptivity (because of their high estrogen levels) and will enjoy luxuriating in the attention given by older gentlemen. However, by the time they hit 30-ish, that biological time bomb can be heard around the world. And what man at twice that age wants to start over with a family?

I've always dated older men, up to 15-20 years older at some points. IMO Older men treat women better and are more appreciative in all respects. I've never been impressed, sexually or in any oter way, with any man I've dated who was my age, and certainly not one who was younger.

So when I look at my husband-to-be as being 8-9 years older... to me- that's really nothing. If he was back at where he was when he was 30 and we were the same age, I don't think the relationship would have worked at all.

Plus, I've never asked him, but I'm sure it's gotta be fun to have everyone know you bagged a hot chick some years your junior... It says "Obviously, I still got it"!

A lovely lady indeed! I believe you sentiments to be true - but understand BPB's perspective - a woman in her early 30s probably should stick with teenage males - she can always get the "REAL" thing (lol) when her lips are chapped from the banging and she's just like a nice warm gush and flush!!

Love long & prosper

That's actually a really interesting observation Velvet regarding the eastern conventions.

Not something I had ever given much thought to, however I do find myself in agreement with you on that.

I also find myself in agreement with my lady as well... and BPB and MzHuny.

Essentially it is an individual thing and what floats someones boat will probably sink someone elses. I guess at the end of the day, there's gonna be some lucky people getting what they want from where they want it, and some poor sods who keep wishing they were somewhere else - cause that's where all the fun is.
