People who don't know how to drive.

You know there are many things in driving that are common sense, or seem to be common sense to me. One is a turn lane. There are several different types of turn lanes. There is the center median turn lane, where traffic from both directions can make a left turn. Of course you have to use caution getting into this lane in case someone is coming from the other direction, but I have often seen people totally ignore this lane and make a left turn from what is essentially the "fast lane." That's a great way to get yourself, or someone else killed. Another type of turn lane is the entry lane. I travel down 75 to Mt. Zion, where there is a turn lane off the exit ramp. Cars will get into the right hand lane, knowing they are going to need to turn left, and then instead of using the turn lane to move over, they sit and block traffic! They could just pull down the lane and turn around in the Southlake Mall drives, or just get in the left hand lane that turns right like they are supposed to instead of holding everyone else up. Now, I am by no means a perfect driver, but I try and use common sense on the road, and try to think about how my driving affects the traffic flow around me. I try and make sure I get into the proper lane, early enough, so that I'm not trying to wedge in, cut people off or otherwise create a hazard.
Tell me what you think of drivers today!

Due to the nature of the quality of driving in England the Department
of Transport has now devised a new scheme in order to identify poor
drivers and give good drivers the opportunity to recognise them
whilst driving.

For this reason, as from the middle of May 2006, this applies to
those drivers who are found to be driving badly which includes:

-overtaking in dangerous places;
-hovering within one inch of the car in front;
-stopping sharply;
-speeding in residential areas;
-pulling out without indication;
-performing U turns inappropriately in busy high streets;
-under taking on motorways
-taking up more than one lane in multi lane roads,

These drivers will be issued with flags, white with a red cross,
signifying their inability to drive properly. These flags must be
clipped to a door of the car and be visible to all other drivers and

Those drivers who have shown particularly poor driving skills will
have to display a flag on each side of the car to indicate their
greater lack of skill and general lower intelligence mindset to the
general public.

Please circulate this to as many other motorists as you can so that
drivers and pedestrians will be aware of the meaning of these flags.
