Excercise and dieting

I recently today went into the area of magazine here on AF and read a couple articles about losing weight..
And it got to me. How not one comment told those concerned that when you go on a diet or join a gym. That you should always seek out a family physician to make sure that you are doing it correctly.
Those that have loved ones they would like to see lose wieght. Make sure that they are having checkups at a doctor's office. This is very important.
Everyone had an opinion about what to do. Or why not to..
My all time favorite is my partner likes big people. Yeah.. sure.. But does your partner understand that you will have a longer life together if you get your weight down. Does your partner understand that your health will not be so bad. And do you know that if a person is too obese that when they have a heart attack it is hard to perform CPR. If you have children and you are overweight lay down and pretend your leg is broke then have them drag you out of a burning building. How about lay there because your were knock out trying to get your kids out. Now they have to drag you out.. Without any help from you.. These are a few reasons to lose weight. But no one gave them.. ANd the most important thing was..Nobody said "Always see your family doctor when starting a diet and excercise routine."
COME ON PEOPLE IT IS COMMON SENSE. IS IT REALLY NECESSARY FOR SOME ONE TO SAY IT.
