*happy dance*

Mom gave me her digital camera and she bought herself a new one. Now I can upload the pics Austin and I took at Disney last trip.

I love taking pictures (hate being IN them though). I like taking them of animals and of people when they don't notice I'm taking their pic, makes them look more natural. Yay I have a camera again

Having a digital camera is great. My first was a "hand me up" from my son. I had always hated digital cams, being an SLR fan. It was a 1MP cam and I said, heck, why not just play with it! So I did and really got a lot of fun out of it. Last summer I bought an H1 and it is fantastic.

Like you, I love to take pictures of nature, people, events. I took about six gigs of pictures of a cross continent road trip. The SLR got pulled out a few times for those once in a lifetime shots that I might want to really enlarge someday.

Ohhhh! I always wanted to see the Cherry Blossom Festival! I have often, in my mind, tried to imagine an image of how it looks and smells. I had a cherry tree in the front yard when I lived out west. It was soooo wonderful when it blossomed. The scent filled the air and wafted into the bedroom windows in the spring.

I'd love to see some of the pictures... Any chance you might want to swap some photos, of scenery, that is? I have some nice(i think) AK shots...

    Quoting tampafem:
I have them on photobucket, don't know if you can look up my ID there: vicki9170
Really nice pix. I will endeavor to post some of the AK trip on there when I register. The cherry blossoms are better than I could have ever imagined. The little guy looks like he had the time of his life. There are quite a few shots that are so well balanced and framed they could be postcards.

Thanx, you are a real sweetheart.

I posted a AK few pics on the "bucket." Try gent55. Lightning brought our internet service down for a few days. The "little guy" I was referring to was in the Disney shots. Obviously it was your big guy at the festival, LOL.

I need to shrink the size of my pics before uploading them, they take forever to upload at 2-3MB each!
