the truth is out there!

i sometimes believe that once you have shattered and broken into a million pieces you just cant get any worse than that...however i was wrong. As bitter and blunt as the truth can be it is sometimes hard to see what life is like with the truth. Why is it so hard for people to tell it? Why do i feel like i am in the wrong for telling the truth? being honest? i just dont understand why some people even try to justify a lie. who said it was ok for us to not speak the truth? Havent our parents(or parental figure)ever said always tell the truth? what happens when the truth is just too hard to understand?

**Mentally frustrated woman here...just want to know the TRUTH!

Two myths are perpetuated here - you can reach bottom, and that there is something called the truth, other than what you see.

No matter how bad things get, they can always be worse. Take heart in that and be thankful you have it as good as you do. Be responsible for getting yourself into whatever situations you get yourself into, good or bad.

The truth, is exactly as you perceive it to be. Every day, you have a view of reality that you choose to deal with. That view is the truth. Sometimes, it turns out that we were operating under some faulty assumptions, some misinformation or something that we otherwise didn't see. Our conflict in life arises from the expectation that things should be any different than they exactly are now. Accept that you only have what you have to work with and start moving forward. There will be discoveries that you make about yourself and the world that will anger you, excite you and delight you in ways you didn't know were possible.

Others may not be giving you all the information you seek. That's ok though; it is merely an opportunity for you to learn something about them and yourself. Never compromise yourself for another. Your integrity is the only thing you have in this life, the only thing. Honour your word as yourself and amazing things will happen in your life. Trust me, for I am one who speaks 'the truth'. =)

People are so foolish. Most are afraid of the truth because they are afrid of the truth. tehy are so weak they can't handel it and don't relize they are going to hurt ever one more with a lie. (including themself) People are afraid of whats out there and are afriad of doing the right thing because its to hard or complacated. They never seem to under stand yes the truth may be hard but sooner or later you will have to face it. the best thing that i can tell you is to be strong. Tell the truth and do the right thing cause and long as you are trying to do the right thing you are at least on the right path. Dont beafraid to seek the truth out cause some times thats the only way to find . well be stong and good luck later

Some people simply cannot handle the truth; they want a soap opera life where all the problems vanish at the end of the twenty minute send time, or a romance film life where the kiss and make up is bound to happen, and damned quick at that. And some people honestly believe that, when they tell the truth, they are going to hurt someone else or hurt themselves; they forget that the truth often comes out and creates considerably more pain than a lie ever could.

telling the truth is the right thing to do people lie to be someone else so basically their life is a lie it is hard to tell the but id rather be true to myself and my partner than to lie and be someone im not

I care not how dangerous the truth is, I still believe it is the best/only policy. Dishonesty is the fastest way to loose me.
