One Little Goldfish

One little goldfish, that is all that's left of the four little goldfish I had in a small pond on my back porch.

I just got home, numb and exhausted from my dental surgery, to discover the pond plants fallen over and the pond fountain knocked over and clogged with little goldfish bits

Only the littlest goldfish remains. All alone. Traumatized by seeing its buddies chewed to bits, I'm sure.

I wonder if the laughing gas they gave me has mottled my brain, but I'm feeling so sad for that little goldfish. Do you think it can experience suffering?

Any suggestions? My father has more goldfish in his huge pond, but would they be nice to my little one, if I moved them to my pond?? Humor me and say something sweet, please?

Thanks for the chocolate! It was good.

Sorry about the goldfish!

I strongly suspect a small mamalian critter with a dark band across his face was the culprit or a neighborhood cat.

An outdoor fish pond without some depth and large stones as well as hiding places for the fish as protection might not be a good idea.

The little fish is now the biggest fish in the pond! (was that sweet enuf?)

I dont believe they feel angst over the unfairness involved in being a fish.

I could be wrong of course.

I forgot, warm wishes for a speedy recovery from the Dental Surgery sweety.

you're correct that stuff is always more uncomfortable than anyone expects.

Happy Friday
