I'm a Hardcore

.............Outdoor girl.

Bet I fooled some of you pervs who thought I was going to say something else.

After my adventure this past week into the Cascades with my lover I have discovered that not many would go where we had gone.

I giggled when I heard

You washed in the CREEK????? I couldn't go anywhere without access to hot water.
(see posted pic that he snuck of me....edited to preserve my modesty!)

OMG, I could have never have hiked that long.

HOW heavy was your backpack?!

You couldn't get to your campsite
because of the deep snow covering your trail
and had to find a place to make camp on the
ridge?

How far away was the nearest motel??

UGH! You had to pack up camp in the rain and
hike back to the car?

as well as

Wow...you could see those three major mountain
peaks from there?

Your tent faced directly toward Mt. St.
Helens and you could see signs of activity?

There were that many different alpine
flowers?

I'm so envious of such an adventure!

and

woo hoo Did you scare the wildlife away
with your ...well you know...

I must say to my most impressively knowledgable, considerate, energetic, mischievous, creative and passionate lover, who planned this adventure for us....I had THE best time! THANK YOU!

Reserve your adventure with this amazing tour guide, Mister MuddyBottoms, NOW!

Thanks Shaye...I haven't been to the beach yet. Since you know my favorite hiking guide, and I hear you also know an artist friend of mine, we should all head to the ocean and fly some kites!

Did someone say kites?? I was in Ocean Shores last weekend for the Sand and Sun motorcycle rally and broke down and bought another one. A nice skeletonless parafoil. I walked by the tattoo and piercing tents, and the food vendors and wandered into the kite shop and after wandering for about 1/2 an hour, headed home with a "soft" kite that I can pack up and carry on the motorcycle. A nice red two line stunt parafoil! The kind gentleman behind the counter tried to talk me into the 8 foot parafoil but I politely told him I didnt want to fly excitedly beneath a large canopy but preferred to work the lines and create great images of darting nylon while my feet stayed firmly planted on the ground.

And nothing beats the quiet and uninterrupted time spent at a remote campsite where clothes can be an option and frolicking with a lover can go on endlessly.....
