A Morning Drive

I woke up unusually early this morning.I didn't know why but I had an uneasy feeling .Went in to the kitchen to make coffee just like I do every day.I looked outside and this storm was still wiping. For some reason I didn't start my coffee yet.Thought it was just alittle to early.
Well right at sun rise I decided to go for a drive to check out the storm damage.I drove around and saw trees and tree limbs down all over the roads but nothing to server. So I stopped at the local WAWA and grabbed a cup of coffee.Sitting there I figured I'd take the back way into our development.
Not very many people use this road because its narrow and there are steep embankments on both sides of the road.As I turned on to the road coming in I thought to my self that I had never noticed the large trees on the sides of the road. There were limbs all over the road way.No big problem for me I drive a jeep.About halfway down the road there was a pretty big limb in the road.I'm still not sure why but I thought that I should get out and move this one.As I pulled it to the side of the road I saw a car over the embankment.First I thought someone had run off the road and gotten stuck. Then had to walk home in the storm. The more I looked at it the car looked familiar. It looked like a girl that lived on our street. So I walked down to see if it was her car.Because I know see lives with her mother and takes care of her mother just as I do.She also has just adopted a baby.
As I came along side the car I noticed the windows where steamed up.Which I knew meant she was either having sex in the car or trapped.I knocked on the window and heard her say help me.I yelled me name so she would know who I was .Because she and her mother have this thing about strange people ever since her sister was and killed back in the 80s.She rubbed the window clean and saw me a started crying. She told me that she had been there since 11:00 o'clock lastnite. She was on her way home down the street and a limb fell across the road and hit her car and she drove of the road. So I took her home to her mother who thanked me over and over. So I think I went out for reason

Wow - it is a wise person that knows to listen to their instinct. I am sure your Karma rating is through the roof.

I do believe in there being reasons for most anything that we do. Being at the right place at the right time....

Kudos for the rescue....
