We've been through so much together ...

and most of it was your fault.

Mood: Pissed

so goes the neighborhood ...

"As I’m sure everybody knows by now, the Universe is a big mystery. Despite mounting impatience in many quarters, and the ever present possibility of protest demonstrations if no complete answer is forthcoming soon, not even the most advanced investigators, using the most modern equipment, have yet been able to clear it all up. Certain things, however, do appear to be more or less certain. Of these, the main one is that you can’t really be certain about anything at all."

"Grateful for at least that much reassurance in these troubled times, I have intermittently turned my own wavering attention to this subject, and present some of the results here. The end result is that I can’t imagine a limited or unlimited universe: so my imagination must be very limited as must my investigation and thus must end immediately. If by chance it should motivate you in any given direction, it will entirely have missed its purpose, and you should probably see your shrink or perhaps you physicist or your psychic?"

Credits: [Except for the rather obtuse turn of rather obtuse events near the rather obtuse ending, both paragraphs above have been extracted in part, in large part word for word, in fact without express permission, written or otherwise, from the voluminous pot shots of Ashleigh Brilliant, more specifically from page one hundred and forty-nine of “Appreciate Me Now and Avoid the Rush.” Perhaps it should have been titled “Appreciate Me Now and Avoid the Risk.” Yet perhaps we can yet appease the powers that be if we simply throw money at 'em, or perhaps agree to purchase all extant copies. In general they currently seem to be reselling much better than they’re selling since hardly used and hardly read copies can be purchased at a mere fraction of the cost of certified new copies.]

I like it when you notice, mysteries! I'm funny that way.

Not a problem, mysteries, just a rather strange guy here, huh? Talk to me baby: I'm a damn good psycho sponge. When I get through with myself, I'll let you know how it turned out; or would you rather guess? Just remember the immortal words of Peter Pan, "To live would be an awfully big adventure."

In time you'll see the wisdom of it. Time of course is God's way of keeping everything from happening all at once, a rather ingenious little device, wouldn't you say?

Perhaps I should rephrase that last sentence, huh? Time of course is God's timeless way of keeping everything from happening all at once, perhaps an even more ingenious device, huh?

Don't know if this one will fly or not: don't hold your breath until you get it?

The Universe...indeed a wondrous mystery...I am in awe as to why and how it continous as if programmed yet doomed to end perhaps not for another few hundred years...
I happen to know a few nuclear physicist...the more they find the less they know...absolutely fascinating brilliant minds...even they accept how little they have unraveled the mystery and yet it is like an obssession...insatiable quest...a marathon of sort to always want more declaration...but aaaaahhhhh they even concede that God our Creator will never revealed fully the whole truth...keeps them humble and bowed down on their knees.

Oh no! You can’t be serious? When will it all end? Good question, huh? Just pay attention to the “signs” and “revelations” and perhaps keep one eye on the center of the galaxy? At yet perhaps even more baffling: When did it all begin? “In the Beginning,” huh? But was that the real beginning, or should we perhaps search for another? And another? And Another? Are there not concurrent parallel universes and/or dimensions? Does God really mind if we peak and ponder and wonder? Perhaps we only need to enjoy the table that is prepared for us, perhaps by sharing it with the less fortunate? Tough choices!

God loves our curiousity no doubt...he made us with a sense of humor...for some it has become twisted however to probe beyond what little scientist knows of how this magnificent creation came to be....the beginning...will never be answered by man...we must face our Creator in that new dimension and only then we may perhaps find the real answer...maybe is my guess!!!
I maybe one who seems ungreatful for the discoveries shared by scientist but it does not make me less greatful for living in this magnificent earth and to look up and see it's wondrous beauty...I am content that I know it was created by some Intelligent Designer.

That's awesome, Flo, and essential my own conclusions, although I tend to keep one eye on the road and one eye on the unseen.
