Time for the Re-Cap of ROCKSTAR Supernova

Ok..where do I begin?? I will save my girl for last as always...

Toby..he was actually quite excellent, got the audiance involved and they were singing along with him on his original...he just may end up in the finale..Kudos to him..he really impressed me.

Magni..purrrrrrr..I just think he is hot he can stand there and I will say he is hot lol..Although the performance itself was not.."great" I dug both performances and see him in the Finale.

Lukas..I am sorry..but how can anyone like the way he did either song..I hated it and ended up fast forwarding thru it..I just do not like him and he is hard to look at if you want to know the truth.

Storm..blew me away with her original..she did an ok job of Suffragette City..but her original kicked ass..I do not think she will be in the finale..but I have to give credit where credit is due..she hit that original out of the ball park!!

*sighs* ..Dilana..my girl..my hope for a woman fronting this band..I think my hopes have been dashed..I did not like how she did Behind Blue Eyes..and her original..although good..was not great..I am afraid for the first time she will be going home tonight..somehow I do not think the guys in the band will allow it tonight..so if she makes the Finale episode..if she is not the one to win it..I hope it will be Magni..guess we will know next Tuesday eh? *shakes her head" how does this happen? Starts off with a band and ends in a fizzle? I hope she brings it on tonight,as she will definitely be in the bottom 3 tonight..that is definite..between her and lukas those were 2 piss poor performances from both of them..so you see,I call it like I see it..I seemed and was Dilana biased because she was the best of the bunch...UNTIL..her breakdown..and now it is a mess..I am pulling for her..but I won't be betting my years salary on her..if she wins..I will get tickets to the gig..if she loses..I won't..thats it..I hope she makes it,I just doubt it somewhat at this point *sighs*

And I know I have not commented on Steve Irwin..honestly..I feel horrible this happened to him,I feel horrible for his lovely wife and 2 small adorable children..but man..if I had to go,I would want to go like him, doing what I love as I am doing it..how lucky was he,if you think about it..and the way he died, proof that it does not matter..when it is your time, there is no avoiding it..period..end of sentence,RIP man..

Happy Hump Day

you know i was waiting for you to post this since you didnt pop on last night lol

my thoughts are pretty similar to yours on last nights show with a couple exceptions.

Lukas sucked, with a capital SUCK. I dont think i will ever be able to listen to 'Livin on a Prayer' ever again. My god he mangled that song in a way that should be reserved for serial killers mangling things. His origional, while being about his mom and all touchy feely, still sucked. It sounded like only a few applauded and they must be his die hard fans cos they would probably applaud if he just stood there farting all night. Hopefully tonight will be HIS night to go home. They have left him hanging around long enough even tho Gilby seems to like him.

Storm and Toby both really rocked it out. Neither of them should be in the bottom 3 with their performances of both songs they did. I cant even add aything, both were just very good.

Magni did ok, altho i dont share your physical fascination with him his performances were 'ok'.

Dilana once again picked a song she should have just let Lukas destroy. She really needs a pick-me-up song, not a 'talk thru'. Someone said she reminded them of Janis Joplin and she does, and not in a good way. More of in a 'stomping, staggering, screaming her head off kinda way'. And while i know she hurt her leg, her performances were blah and her origional could have been better, but at least it didnt suck as bad as Lukas'.

To be honest i'll be happy with anyone but Lukas winning at this point. As stated before, if he wins next week, my tickets go back where they came from

I agree. But, I think most of us wouldn't have been so shocked, had he been bitten by a poisonous snake, or attacked by a croc. What happened was SO damn freaky. He will always be remembered as a passionate conservationist. I personally feel I knew him, as I watched his show for MANY years. I know he changed a lot of minds about the world around us, through his enthusiasm and knowledge. RIP Steve Irwin. We will miss you...

I was listening to the radio on my way home from work this morning and they gave some time to Steve Erwin, they made the statement it was like when Elvis died, a caller came in and commented on that he had such a wide fan base from 2-102 he didn't focus on any age group he wanted everyone to understand nature. What caught my attention was the issue over the tape of his death, his father stated that Steve had always commented if he got attacked by a gator, croc, or killed by a poisonous snake he wanted it public that it is nature, his wife is saying the tape will never be made public. I can see the fathers view and following his wishes, but I can also see the impact this would have on his children can you imagine having one of your parents death made public like that seeing it as a young child? Most people are after the gore and the media is after the ratings and that isn't what any of it is about just my two cents.

Steve first - absolutely ditto on what bucfannn said - but I also want to add - yesterday ANPL re-played an interview show that was also sort of a tribute to Steve. Not only was there all the conservationist activities - there was also the time he was filming off of Baja California and stopped filming to join a search and rescue effort for two divers. When everyone else gave up he continued searching. he finally found the one survivor and risked his own life to save him. I think the label "hero" is overused - but Steve deserved it entirely.

Rockstar - I missed Tuesday night but watched the performances online yesterday - Lukas's Bon Jovi was missing. I'm sad for me because I have become a Storm fan, but happy for SNL that Dilana escaped. I think Dilana just had so much credit in the "bank" from past performances that was a factor last night. I also think the band was really impressed at the spirit she showed the last two nights performing on that bad leg - I know I was! I was really rooting for Lukas to leave last night. He hasn't impressed me since day one and I'm totally shocked he's in the final four!

Well, it looks like I'm the only dissenting opinion here.
I really enjoy Lukas' singing. I don't think he will get this gig, but I'm not surprised to see him here, I predicted it in week 2.

Dilana is the one I want to see win this, but there is a possibility that Toby will take it. Magni is talented, but he is a dark horse to win this. My prediction for top 2 is Dilana and Toby.
