lipstick anyone?

I dont wear makeup. I dont really know why, i guess i just never thought it looked right on me. Besides, i really cant stand anything on my face for that long. If I'm going on an interview i occasionally torture myself with a little foundation, lipgloss and mascara...but only to show that i care ennough to put in the effort. I've had men (Sir included) ask me why i don't wear any. i guess since other women do it's expected. but honestly, men...why? is it the same as for the interview...the effort? or is there something about blue eyelids that attracts you? i can understand, i suppose that a bit of makeup can dramaticize a certain feature, and give a woman an exotic appeal. however, as far as everyday wear? is there really a point? i just dont see how a rosy red pout can be so appealing...unless of course you like to see the marks of where that mouth has THAT i would buy lipstick for.

I only wear make up when I go out clubbing or at work. I love red anything so I guess thats why I love wearing lipstick. I don't wear foundation much but I love eyeliner. As for it being an everyday thing, naw. If I'm just going to the mall or to see family its just eyeliner and lipgloss.

I dont see the point for make-up (or body hair). Just show up naked!

As I have risen in the professional world, I have discovered that it is DEFINTELY considered something women should put in the effort about. Mostly by other women!

You will seldom find me without a recent manicure, and I ALWAYS wear mosturizer with sun screen on my face....365 days a year. This is not a complexion that tans. And I have settled on one of those long-lasting lipsticks and, of course, I would never step out without perfume.

Its not a lot of effort and I really do feel more pulled together. And leaving the smell of my perfume on a man's mind is never a bad thing.
