were do you see your self in 20 years?

are there things that you have been putting off, that you have always wanted to do? things that years ago you thought you would have done by now? are there things that you wish to accoplish before you die?

i thought by now i would have gotten my high school diploma and be in colloge working a a nursing degree. instead i am stuck in a marrige. but i do have 2 beautiful kids.

here is a list on how i wanted my life to go.

1. high school diploma
2. colloge
3. great carrer
4. man of my dreams, sexy and rich
5. kids

so thinking today i have a new list and here it is:
1. get high school diploma (working on it right now)
2. go to colloge (right after diploma)
3. own a home
4. take a great vaction to some were far far away
5. BE HAPPY

so are you were you wanted to be? do you still have a list of wants before you go? is there one thing you would do over again, and change if you could?

I'm about the same:

1) College;
2) Satisfying career;
3) Comfortable lifestyle;
4) Sexy, adventurous wife; and
5) Happy, healthy kids.

I got it all except for #4. Shes a great person but it's not been what I expected. I don't place all of the blame on any one person though so don't slag me for it.

    Quoting magahee77:
    1. graduate from med school
    2. Not kill anyone as an intern
    3. Have my own private practice
    4. Get married and have kids
    5. Retire to the bahamas
    6. Die with a smile on my face after a 3some with twins.
those all sound great. but do you really think you will be able to get it up when you die. or do you plan on dieing becouse those twins were you out

Thinking back to when I was 21...pretty much did eveything I set out to do. Ran into a situation abut 10 years ago when it was obvious I had done it...and there was still something missing. So, jumped off the track and went in a whole new direction. Sole goal now is to just be a good person. "a man's reach should exceed his grasp..or what's a heaven for."

I'll pretend 20 years ago I was 21 ...

1) Graduate College
2) Get and stay happily married
3) Have at least 2 healthy children
4) Be financially stable
5) Get a graduate degree

how'd I do?

1) Yep, got the degree just a little behind the "normal" schedule but perfectly right on "my" schedule. One of the subgoals here was to throw good parties. I did. I went to a wedding 10 or 15 years after the party and someone I hadn't seen since one of those parties asked if I was the guy that lived at the place that had that red, white and blue party? That put a smile on my face.

2) Got the 1st part of this one, that was easy. The other part, well did I tell you I have a profile on AdultFriendFinder ...

3) Have 3 very healthy (although loud) children and this is the most rewarding of all 5 goals, hands down, no discussion, next?

4) I keep getting annual raises or big bumps when I change jobs and I like my career. I never thought, never in a million, that I would have a positive impact on what's going on with recent events w/ the U.S. and the world

5) That 3 years seems so easy compared to losing a child in a mall for 3 hours

Maybe I'll post my 5 goals for the next 20 years on my on blog later
