Plant, Count, Talk, Phone, Laugh, Exercise, Smile, Turn off TV, Be Kind

Found this, thought that I'd share. I try and do a few of these things every week, but I think that we could all use more self nurturing, really. I wonder why SEX wasn't included in the listing? One could equate sex with a few of them, though. I already have.

'Keys to a Happier Life' from the BBC. The more energy we have, the more we can share with one another. Sex just HAS to be better!!!!

1- Plant something and nurture it

2- Count your blessings - at least five - at the end of each day

3- Take time to talk - have an hour-long conversation with a loved one each week

4- Phone a friend whom you have not spoken to for a while and arrange to meet up

5- Give yourself a treat every day and take the time to really enjoy it

6- Have a good laugh at least once a day

7- Get physical - exercise for half an hour three times a week

8- Smile at and/or say hello to a stranger at least once each day

9- Cut your TV viewing by half

10- Spread some kindness - do a good turn for someone every day

I hope that you're doing at least one of these things!

Now, when can we have some wonderful sensual times?

hehe

#5 "Give yourself a treat..." & #7 "Get Physical..." COULD be interperted as a call to great sex...
At least, I will!

Exactly. ...and I do trust that you'll ENJOY!

I am certainly in a time of my life that it seems as though EVERYTHING points to sex; whether I am having it or not!!

Thanks for visiting! Come back, soon.

And how man of these mid-year resolutions are you adhering to?

Well, since I only found it a few days ago; I read it and try and do one a day, at least....I think that they are all wonderful activities. I, like so many, am not too well disciplined to be doing all of them all at once!

Thank you for the visit!

I've found that being friendly to strangers and going out of my way to help, such as opening a door for a woman or anyone with their hands full, makes me feel good whether or not they appreciate it. Then I read that talking to the cashiers you meet is very good for you because it is no stress positive communication. Everything else on the list is good too. Especially the exercize. But be warned that both excersize and planting and/or nurturing something, like sex, can be addicting. If your plant dies or you plant a person or you can't come up with five blessings, it could have the opposite effect. Y'think?

Having sex is great but making love is much better. All of these things lead to a calmer, clearing mind and a better way to look at your partner. It leads you to look at your partner in a more focused and loving way. This was a great list, and you're right making love (or sex, if you will ) should be there.
