Our hearts also go out to Terry and her family. It is sad to think that our justice system could be guilty of murder but it looks that way. Would these same people stand by if we were to starve Scott Peterson? I think not and he deserves to die in my book.

This case is disturbing to me, starving her to death is the worst thing to do. I am a parent of a child with a feeding tube as well, if I were in the same situation as the parents of Terri, I would do the same they are.....fighting every step of the way to keep her alive. It's been so long that she's been this way (7 years)already they might as well let her continue. If he thinks he's helping her by ending her life....he should've found another way to do it instead of starving her to death. She must be in more pain now then what she's endured over the past seven years. I do believe he has other issues. I mean he can dikvorce her if he wants to move on and have a more 'fulfilling' life with another woman. It just seems so wrong to me. It's euthanasia, basically. Sensualart, what do you think about the case....since you posed the question I am interested in your take on it?

well like I said before in past posts ragarding this case I think they coul offer her food atleast. They could put it in front of her adn see if she initiates an attempt at wanting to eat..She could atleast move her head toward the food even if her hands are deformed now as they have shriveled due to inactivity. i also agree that we feed and ouse CRIMINALS,why not her?

She is not capable of recognizing food, much less eat it. She expressed a desire NOT to be kept alive via feeding tubes. The people who truely deserve our scorn are the hypocritical congressmen who voted to reinsert the tubes against the will of the patient, her husband and the judicial system. Tom DeLay, for one voted for the bill, yet opted to let his own father die by removal of feeding tubes after his father was in the same condition as Ms. Schiavo. Many of the same congressmen voted to have the tubes forced back upon Ms. Schiavo, yet voted against allowing medicare to pay for feeding tubes for patients with Crone's disease who are fully awake and living their daily lives, but cannot survive without a feeding tube. My $.02 worth..probably be deleted like my first reply
