Sorry...We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties

For those who check this space, you may have noticed a post on prostitution that was here then part of it wasn't. I am sure this is due to the continued glitches in the AdultFriendFinder blog system and the site itself. However, this blog and others have dealt with the concerns of censorship on the site, and that can't be completely ruled out. After trying to post all of it seven times, I have now decided to make it four separate postings that will appear later. Thank you for your patience.

atm some of my blog entries are censored aka not published since half a week - for reasons i cant see. Search for 'censorship' in the blog search does reveal numerous entries - no idea how many more don't pop up because they are censored.

affbreak...

Thanks for the backpages posting here and in my March 28 post "Censorship." I have wondered how the new system was working with the FAQ and rules now prominent and posted. I have been meaning to write a sequel to my censorship post. Perhaps sometime in the next month.

You might try reposting with minor changes. That often works. Good luck coping with the system.

Okay, great we are all talking about this amongst ourselves...BUT HAVE ANY OF YOU ACTUALLY COMPLAINED DIRECTLY TO AdultFriendFinder THOUGH? Nothing will change if we are silent...send feedback to AdultFriendFinder or stop paying. These are the only ways to get noticed and enact change! None of us should be Beta testing on our dime! (My example follows...)

--------------------------------------------------------------------

(Please forward this to someone in a management role because I am not satisfied with the past responses I have received from AdultFriendFinder's regular Customer Service Representatives.)

To Whom it May Concern,

I am very unhappy with the level of service and reliability of AdultFriendFinder's site in general. The webcams in particular have constantly had huge issues; many days you cannot even view them. There are constant glitches and errors in the cams and other sections of the site, including log-in.

Yet everytime I bring this to the attention of AdultFriendFinder's staff I am told that this is a temporary situation and that it will soon be corrected. Great, but at who's expense? This would be acceptable if it was a rarity; which it very much is not. Why am I expected to pay full charges for partial services?

In other technical fields, when upgrades or changes are made it is done to a "mirror" site so that the users are unaffected. The new revisions are not released on the (unsuspecting) public untill they are tested and stable. If AdultFriendFinder cannot get it together enough to do likewise, then I am not going to continue to pay for service that is severely lacking (and not as described).

I have turned off my Auto-renew and do not plan to give AdultFriendFinder any more of my money (especially if they cannot honor what is promised for this charge). AdultFriendFinder really might want to consider paying attention to those that pay them because I know that I am not alone in my feelings.

There are alternative products and I myself will be both exploring and promoting these as alternatives to those around me, if I do not see a drastic change in the way AdultFriendFinder treats its clientele. Unless AdultFriendFinder begins to treat its customers with the dignity due to them, you will never see another dollar from myself or any of my friends.

Sincerely,

M___ _______

>>>ChakaRaka4M8...Thanks for the backpages post. Indeed, some of us have complained to the administrators. Sometimes, we even get some minor satisfaction. You are right. Blogging has been like beta testing here. I have been tempted to unplug at times too. And I have written about this in various posts.

It sounds like you are on your way out, but I have several suggestions. First, you should post your letter or suggestion not only to the administrators but also in the discussion group, bloggers of this friendly site. Several letters of complaint are circulating there for members to replicate and send along.

You should check my other entries that relate to censorship and technical problems, including: Censorship; More Technical Difficulties; The Good, The Bad The Ugly; Intolerable Censorship; Censorship Revisited; and Censorship Reconsidered.

As for me, I remain because I have seen improvements perhaps because of the complaints and criticisms leveled by me and others to the administrators. Good luck, whatever your decision.
