Will you still love me tomorrow????

Carole King wrote many fine songs and one of them is "Will you still love me tomorrow"???

I don't know why that song popped into my head this morning.... I saw a guy last night that I had been seeing for a while. He did his "Shawna the Shiner" impersonation in person...and, I have to say that I feel much better about it. Something about it, over the phone that is, can leave one mystified. At least, eyes don't lie.... and I could look into his eyes as he was doing the impression.

He won't be visiting in a while b/c he is getting his tonsils out and in the moving process....however, it is funny how songs just pop in one's head for no apparent reasoning.....

The lyrics go like this:

Tonight You're mine completely
You give your love so sweetly
Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
But will U love me tomorrow

Is this a lasting treasure
Or a just moment's pleasure
Can I believe the magic of your sights
Will U still love me tomorrow

Tonight with words unspoken
You said that i'm the only one
But will my heart be broken
When the night(When the night)
Meets the morning (Meets the morning)sun

I'll like to know that your love
Is love I can be sure of
So tell me now and I won't ask again
Will you still love me tomorrow
Will you still love me tomorrow
Will you still love me tomorrow

Do you ever wonder if someone will still love you tomorrow??? and the day after that??? and the day after that, too????

txrose, sometimes i wonder if "someone" will even "Love Me Tomorrow", much less "Still!"
I think that song was from the late 60's early 70's, if i'm not misstaken. Don't it pass to quick, though? Hardly seems too long ago i was hearing that when it was popular.

travlinginTexas (remember to always capitalize Texas) that is a good song but i think i loved it even better when Natalie Cole released her version; dubbing in her by then deceased dads voice. Also liked when Hank Williams Jr. did Tear In My Bear with his dads voice dubbed in.
