Show and tell?

It has come to a day that you must show and tell. What is it that you come forth today to show and tell about????

Just curious....

Blowing air through the eye is medically explained. There was a guy on "More Than Human," one of those short-lived shows on TLC or Discovery a couple years ago, who could do that on command. He even blew out a candle with air from his eye!

IIRC, there is a tiny duct between the eyes and the nasal passages. Supposedly, it is to let tears or something clear away from the eye. Normally, it is a one-way tube, with a kind of check valve in it.
The doctor who examined him suspected that the one-way valve was faulty or missing.

Just more useless knowledge from the dark recesses of ProtonicMan's odd mind.

No charge.

CookieLips2 - If you have talent like that, you might have to experiment and try to blow milk out of your eyes like some guy did on the Steve Harvey show!!! lol....

I don't know whether it is "normal", but, occasionally, when I blow my nose really, really hard, it will do the same thing. There is probably a biological explanation for that - but I certainly can't do it on command!!! lol....

sharksnsails - You gotta love it - technology!!! Who would have thought that, for instance, that we would find it stimulating to be internet dating in this time and age as part of the courtship process. Amazing, isn't it???

TxRose, try this one out.....I can hold my nose shut and blow air out of my eyes! Is this normal or what? I haven't quite figured out how to breathe through my eyes yet but if I do I will let you know. I think I may be on to something here!

I brought this ----> @
It is the shorthand for "at"
when I was growing up only a few kids my age knew that.
now any child of 10 could tell you that.
Isn't it funny how technology changes our lives.

I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours. However, my equivalent of the "yours" you've posted isn't all that interesting.

ByteChaser2 - No, not really. A bit of free for all in a sense. I think that there are a lot of things that people desire to tell about themselves that sets them unique from others, but are afraid to say something. Got any secrets that you haven't told just yet???

I've said so much in the last few months... and well... Shown some here and there. Was there any specific genre you were *groping* for here?
