Inner Strength -- only if we all could???

An email was sent to me by a friend today that had this to say ---

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can get going without pep pills,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and blame without resentment

If you can ignore a friend's limited education and never correct him,

If you can resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend,

If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without liquor,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

...Then You Are Probably The Family Dog!

What do you think?

Lipator - So true. For some, it is a harder lifetime journey than others. It is reassuring , all the same, to know that others have flaws - be it the same flaws or differing ones, which makes each of us very unique in their own right.

I think we all have our flaws and weaknesses. Knowing what they are and dealing with them, is a lifetime journey.

Also, though flaws may be different, knowing that others have a flaw, is reassuring. Be it by their achievements, or by their failures.

It could be very, very true. It is hard for a human to go through life without some of the flaws we have, and some of the crutches we use to keep going. The funny thing about the end is, that we depend on our family pets to soothe us when feeling down and out sometimes.
