How old is old???

Recent news spread about....

A 33-year-old Malaysian man has got married ‒ to a 104-year-old woman.

The groom has never tied the knot before, but his bride ‒ who is more
than 70 years his senior ‒ has walked done the aisle with 21 different

The man insists he hasn't married for money or any other reason than love.

He told local media he found peace after meeting the elderly lady.

In reviewing my emails that had this news...couldn't help but think, how old is old. Too many folks, I appear to be in my 30s, but I am (*clearing my throat*) in the upper 40s. Does this really make me old???? or, still young enough???

Just curious....

I was actually told on this site that I was too old to bother chatting to. I'm 52 they were 31.
Their loss i'm no Brad Pitt but ive read some of her stuff( no names) and my ten year old nephew is cleverer. Maybe I was the lucky one.
Age is in the mind I know 70 year olds going on 30 and vice versa.

Take care xxx

I've heard about this from friends in Malaysia. He's the foreign male equivalent of Anna Nichole Smith.

But if you ever seen how most foreign asian guys lack game, you can understand why this would be the best he can get.

Age is relative. You are as young as you feel and act!

I know a man who is 73 and he is the darling of the 20 something crowd. He will tell you that he is 73 years of age but really only just a few years older than his 22 year old daughter becuase he feels and acts 24.

I got so tickled at him. He told me that he hoped that I was taking care of myself because in 27 years he would be celebrating his 100th birthday and he hoped I was around to celebrate with him.

At the same time, I look at the younger crowd and thank my lucky stars that I am not that age any longer. For me life got so much better when I hit my 40's. I am not sure most really become adults prior to 40.

OK, OK, no more soap boxes.

The whole, "you're only as old as you feel" is pretty true. Of course it doesn't hurt to look younger too

As we all get older, our idea of "old" moves farther and farther in the future. Upper 40's to me several years ago seemed like such a gap in age. Now it doesn't seem that bad at all.

If you don't care, and the person you're with doesn't care, than it shouldn't matter. If you dated someone 20 years your junior, the only real problem you might face is the annoyance of having to explain things you're talking about that he doesn't remember because he may have been too young at the time.

Purely physical encounters don't typically have the same issues. Just have fun.
