I think it's on it's way

I grew up in the midwest, and normally, I don't have a problem with the change of the seasons. But this year spring couldn't get here quick enough! I mean, this whole raining for ever and a day thing just got old for some reason this year. And even as recently as a couple of weeks ago, I still thought we were in the middle of the winter's grip.

But the last two days were very nice here. It wasn't raining, and the temp was actually comfortable. I am welcoming this weather with open arms. Because this year I was just plain tired of winter.

So I hope that each of you in blog land has had a taste of spring wherever you may be. (Of course this only applies to those who are North of the Equator, I guess.) I know it did wonders for my attitude.

So if you have had some nice weather where you're at, get off the computer and go enjoy it!

Hey Sexy!! Actually, in my neck of the woods, we have been having 'Spring' for several weeks. Today is an absolutely GORGEOUS DAY. Sun shining, birds singing, flowers almost blooming. A small cold front came in last night and dropped the temp a bit ... but it's okay, because I love when it's cold. This is the right temp for snuggling. But I also believe that even when it's raining, it's a beautiful day, and I enjoy it because I'm alive.

I have my garden planted ... tomatoes, peppers (bell, cayenne, jalepeno, habenaro), squash, cucumbers, okra, onions, dill (for pickling). Around here everyone is praying for rain. It is so dry, and we have been under a burn ban since before Thanksgiving. So I don't get to enjoy any fires in the fire pit we built. But ...

Along with Spring everything starts blooming. And while many of the blooms are lovely, my allergies suffer. Especially from the oak. I have 20+ oak trees in my front yard. It's a beautiful yard, and I love it. If I can just get rid of the fire ants!!!

ENJOY your day !!!!

Tennesee wouldn't know nice weather if it bit us in the ass! Seriously, it is either freezing cold, humid as hell or raining. The weather changes frequently and you have to layer here.

Our first day of Spring brought us temps in the 30's after a bout of 70 degree weather. Tonight it will be 28 and they are expecting possible ice. Just when I updated my summer wardrobe.

Should you want to do a nice weather dance, please remember your friend in Tennessee...
