Ever have a Feeling?

For some reason... don't know why... I'm feeling like we're gonna have an earthquake here in the northwest within the next 48 hours or so. A significant one... 4.9 or greater... off the coast of Oregon. We've had a couple in the last week between 4.0 and 4.9. And later today is the full moon.

Just a guess... But my ankle hurts... so I'm expecting something.

Aching bones usually means rain around here. Either that or you're just getting old.

Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

Keep us posted. I guess I didn't realize that Oregon has earthquakes. I haven't been paying attention to the news lately. Stay safe.

Stay alert stay alive, you know the deal. My guess about the ankle is more along the lines of a birthday quake. lol

Perhaps the earthquake and the ankle are related...Maybe you are going kick someone in the ass...perhaps it is going to rain..perhaps...LOL. *shrugs shoulders* Wierd how we get signals and perceptions from different things in our world. Watch the animals my friend. If they suddenly get nervous or acting strange ...then you may be right..be safe, and tell us what happens.

OMG!

No way!

You're joking, right?

I actually get migraines right before earthquakes. Have had one the past few days come to think of it.

Well everyone, about the closest that thing that came from my prediction was a 2.2 minor quake that hit in the upper Puget Sound about 3:11 p.m. this afternoon. Nothing bigger than that. Nothing closer. You can find the earthquake shaker maps at the USGS web site. Just use your favorite search engine and search "earthquake" and go to the USGS site, click on USA on the home page. Pretty simple.

For those of you that don't know, I'm an earthquake junkie. If I was a kid in high school again, I'd probably be looking into a seismology program somewhere. I watch the USGS site quite often when I have these "feelings". We had a few quakes bigger than 4.0 last week off the coast of Oregon. And this time, I just thought we'd see another before the end of the full moon phase, which was last night at 6:34 p.m. here. (They tend to be a bit more active in the last 72 hours prior to a full moon.)
