I've Asked This Before And I'm Asking Again

I was shopping last night and heard a guy whistling "Jimmy Cracked Corn" while looking for his stuff. I like the song, catchy lyrics, but am not sure I would choose whistling it while shopping.

Remember The Wizard of Oz? Remeber the scene where the guards at the witch's castle were marching back in and singing the "All we owe" song?

That is my absolute favorite song ever. I sing it all the time. I always pump my arm like the guards did too. It gives me something to do during those lengthy shopping excusions at WalMart.

Even the employees at WalMart are surprised by this behavior. What is the world coming to? Can't a guy sing and have an odd spring in his gate?

Certainly others sing a favorite song while doing less than desirable tasks. Or do they? Just a little FYI...never sing my favorite song when engaged in a sexual activity. Unless of course you enjoy eye punches.

Am I the only one who sings?

LOL @ Saint!

No, you're not alone, TDA! I sing all the time! My favorite is "I Touch Myself" by the Divinyls. I get some pretty strange looks, too.

I too thought it was Oreo, and it is my favorite song in the movie.. As to singing, sometimes a song gets stuck in my head and that can be very distracting. Sometimes I am just so blonde.

I too would like to know what is in citizen_2point5's pants and I wonder if he sings soprano.

I actually whistle to the muzak. My boss keeps asking if I could whistle in tune. I thought that I was. Sometimes, I will sing, but only if no one can hear me.

    Quoting rm_farm_girl84:
Ever since Buck Owens died I've been catching myself singing "I've got a Tiger by the tail, it's plain to see."
FarmGal ... I had this funny feelin' that someone has been twirlin' my tail lately .... just a twirlin' and twirlin' and twirlin'! Tall, I sing in the car with the windows rolled up. So far no tickets for 'disturbance of the peace'.

It has much more impact if you sing that one wearing the same outfit those witch guards are also wearing. Try it and you'll see!

The hard part is getting ahold of such a uniform but it is possible with persistance.
