Games people play

I admit that I enjoy the "game" of finding a picture in the searches that I particularly like, then following it to the profile, and doing a "Rate this photo", which then sends me into a series of other pictures to rate, few of which are as good as the one I started out with, but there have been some notable exceptions. I'm a very hard grader, and have yet to give out a 10. I figure that a 10 should be reserved for a picture that makes me want to get off on first sight. A couple have come close, but haven't found one that good yet (heaven forbid that when I finally find one, that it would be while I'm at work).

I gave up on winks as useless very quickly. If I wanted to send a compliment, I did it by email. That was before I found out how overwhelmed most of the women on this site were by the sheer volume of email they receive. My compliments were being lost in the ocean. I did, however appreciate the several winks that I received, even though I never got responses to the "thank you" emails that I sent.

The oddest wink that I got was received on Alt. I researched this site, and discovered that she was here using the same handle and photo. After having heard nothing back, I decided to get assertive two days ago and sent the following email:

I'm writing you again to see if there's any way I can find out if you really exist. I only ask because it seems like when one joins one of these sites as a "standard" member, one seems to collect a wink and/or email, which is impossible to respond to until one "upgrades". Then one responds to the email and/wink, but never gets another response. I've seen this happen to me an a couple of different occasions.
Which is not to say that I'm accusing you of being fake (well, I guess it comes across that way) but I would like to be able to make sure that you're really out there. You haven't responded to my network invitation. (As I said when I sent it, there is really no incentive for you to do so, so I not surprised you haven't accepted it, on the other hand, you haven't declined either, so I don't know what to think.) If it makes any difference to you, I don't advertise my "friends".

I recognize that you're a standard member, and that makes it difficult, if not impossible, to respond "anonymously" (if at all). I promise that if you use my regular email, and indicate that you don't want to hear back from me, that I'll leave you alone in the future.

On the other hand, from what I hear about the response that women get on these sites, it could be that you've just been overwhelmed by responses (I wouldn't be at all surprised, you're awfully cute) and haven't been able to sort everything out yet, in which case, don't let me rush you, I'll still be out here when you do catch up.

Again, my email address is:

{content edited}

and I promise to leave you alone henceforth if that is your preference.....

The next day, her profile was gone. Not turned off or inaccessible, gone, as in "not found". Same on Alt.

I'm not sure what to make of that, unless I was right in my suspicions.....

Just a warning...the photo you are looking for is probably a good indication she is fake.

Does that mean you are? Your pictures in general come closest to 10's of anybody out there. There are other isolated winners, and the Daisy Lincoln collection is to die for, but the photo attached to this wink was nothing like that. Just a girl sitting in a car fully dressed, looking at the photographer in the back seat. I was just responding because she'd winked at me to begin with.....)
