As some of my closest friends and family members know, Mr. Shawn and I have been struggling over the decision of whether or not we want to have another baby (our first together). After much long debate we have finally decided that we will! This mostly came about after a decision of his to stop going to school, so I know he won't be commuting the two hours each way to Dallas for two years and will be around with energy (and a paycheck coming in) to help with a little one. What can I say here? I'm so excited! And we are hoping for a boy as we already have his two girls and my one. But a girl with both our genes would be awesome, too. When this becomes more of a reality and I've actually gotten pregnant, I will probably be asking your opinions on names, okay? So get ready, blog friends.

Kaliedascope61, that's just funny!

We'll now! Congratulations on your decision. I can just picture a child with your genes. Beautiful it would be.

Ms. Shawn~

You've obviously given it a lot of thought. Kudos to both of you for that. Not like you're rookies, right?

All I meant to do was plant the seed for later. Even if it's MUCH later.

Sounds to me like Mr. Shawn knows where his priorities are.

I'm just now (at 35) beginning the trek of obtaining an Associates Degree. Classes start March 1st. The path I'm taking will mean it will take considerably longer than 2 years, but I'll eventually get there.

Fortunately for me, my wife realizes that school is going to take up a fair amount of my off-work time and is prepared for it.

I know other guys at work who were offered the same opportunity who just couldn't make it work at home. Which is a shame, becasue they'd be better off in the long-run, you know?

Anyway, thanks again for sharing the good news! Have fun!
