Hmmm, What to Entitle This Post........

I have a question for those of you in "the know" about such things.
I'm a standard member and I realize that there are a few benefits I miss out on by not upgrading, where blogging is concerned. My question is about those missing benefits.
When I look over there >>>>>> and see those who have recently viewed my posts, and go to the view all link, not everyone is listed. If a posts says that 200 people have looked at it, wouldn't all those people be listed on the view role call? Do gold and/or silver ball holders see more than I do?
Are you also able to see exactly who has read each individual post? My inquiring mind wants to know.

I got another cheap thrill this morning when I was over on another blog. I saw my blog listed on the "people who like this blog, also like"!!!
I was having problems getting to any blogs this morning, so I was trying to backdoor them. That only worked about half the time. I couldn't even get to mine! Damn site! I finally had to go to get local and I saw that I have moved to number three in Michigan. I am shameless! I got a big ole smile like that. LOL

As some of you may know, I am very involved with volunteering at my son's school. There is a board of education meeting next Monday night and they will be voting to approve the employee handbooks. I am going to ask them to change the teacher dress code to include everything that is in the student handbook. This would include things such as no low-rider pants, no halter tops or tube tops, no low-cut blouses or shirts. We have some of our teachers working with K-3rd grade children who dress like they are headed to the night club to pick up men. I don't care what a person chooses to put on their bodies except when they are working with children. They already have so much exposure, they certainly don't need it at school. Plus the fact that this particular group of teachers scream the loudest at contract negotiations about being treated and paid as professions. Well, dress like a professional then and not a Pro. That's my rant for the week.

WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Less than three hours til the new season of Dancing With The Stars!

Just want to say "HI" and "THANKS" to everyone who visits this blog. I know y'all don't always leave a comment and that's perfectly fine with me. But I do appreciate you stoppin' by.

I took this picture last Saturday at the park where we attended a pig roast. The view is from an observation deck called "Eagle's View" and overlooks the Manistee River. Isn't it beautiful?

No Kritter, we with gold balls have no advantage in the blog/group area other than we can upload pictures and view pictures others have uploaded. I think if someone goes directly to your post, via a link (recently updated, etc.) witout actually stopping at your blog, they don't show up.

Hi kritter..Well..so many questions...first of all..being a retired teacher, I heartily agree with you..one other male teacher and I were the only ones still wearing a dress shirt and tie..a lot ofthe new teachers and some of the "dinosaurs" need a dress code!!!!! They send the kids home for inappropriate attire..they should do the same with some of the teachers..as for blogging..can't help you there..being relatively new..I'm still a novice to the whole thing..and I APPRECIATE YOU!!!!!! In your very busy day..you manage to stop by my blog and leave a message..you've no idea how you brighten my day..and heighten my nights!!!!
Thinking of you
Clint

I am a silver member because I can respond to comments and it is a bit easier to e-mail other bloggers, particularly if you're a bloke.

I believe teachers should dress like professionals, but I also believe that children should wear uniform. It's all to do with corporate identity which in turn contributes to building a school's culture, not the culture of the street. I also believe that schools should have acts of collective worship, and these assemblies need to be as high quality as the very best lessons. Again, this is about culture-building in the same way as a family sitting down to dinner together bonds more closely than one that doesn't. I think the American system misses a trick on that score.

warm xx
