Makin' Love Music

Music can be so powerful........

I "may" have a date this weekend, and am looking for some niced mood music. I want something smooth and sexual. Sensual, erotic, and a bit romantic. Something playing in the background, that while we are drinking wine, and kissing, and touching.....is helping to intensify the moment.

Any suggestions?
I like the feel of alot of Sarah McLachlan's stuff...so I'm thinking along those lines.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest Astral Weeks. The music and imagery is peerless. Perfect for lovers

Sarah & Van are both good, although I'd go with Veedon Fleece over Astral Weeks. Al Green is sure fire. Early Bee Gee's is also great. "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" or "Lonely Days, Lonely Night".

If you go beyond the kissing & touching, Santana is great if you can keep up the tempo

Veedon Fleece & Astral Weeks????? I've not heard of either of these. What type of music is it?

Veedon Fleece & Astral Weeks are cd's by Van Morrison. These are early ones. Similar to early Elton John, more melodic and easy going then rock.

I once made love to a cd I made. It started out with Sarah McL then Van M. and then to Santana. The first ones very slow easygoing ones and the Santana just started going faster and faster and faster. I was on top trying to keep up the pace and I thought I was gonna bust a nut!!

I laughed afterwards and told my partner about it and she said "What music? Once you started I didn't hear a thing". At first I was mad that she didn't notice the effort I put into the mood music but then I realized it was really a compliment on my other, uh... skills ;-0

Get The Best of Al Green. Or the compilation Let's Stay Together/I'm Still in Love with You. He's not as blatant as Barry White. You can listen to Al anytime.

Actually, while looking online....I did see belly dancing cds listed. Is it instrumental or is there singing as well?

I spent several hours downloading music, and putting a cd together. Alot of Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, and a variety of other stuff. I thought I had a good mix...burned it.....and left work without it. By the time I realized it, I didn't want to turn around and go back for it. Dammit. Needless to say, we did without the music just fine, but I gotta remember it for next time.
