Its your blog, I guess you can do what you want...

Late last night I read a members blog post and commented. She had related a story about a relationship she was in, had seemed to feel used by the other person to some extent and was talking about how she was going to be in the future.

After reading it I felt like commenting because I too had been in an online/offline relationship where the other person, in my opinion was using me and treating me unfairly. I posted my thoughts and marked the thread so I could go back today and see if she agreed or disagreed or whatever.

This morning I check in and the post was gone (my comment, not her original post). Knowing how AdultFriendFinder can lose some posts, I re-posted my original comment, word for word because it was still in my browsers cache.

Now a few hours later it is gone again. I am now pretty sure this person didn't like my comments for some reason and decided to delete them.

If you make a heartfelt post about how you are feeling on a certain issue in a relationship, be prepared to see how others feel about the same issue. I may re-post my original comments here and let you guys tell me what about it would make it worthy or being deleted.

take care all, happy blogging!!

Well maybe third time is a charm! but I dont see delecting someones comments just because you dont like them.

Thank You for Your Time and Attention

No, I'll pass on a 3rd try, if she is annoyed with me for some reason the third time might be seen as somewhat 'stalkerish' lol.

Papy, I understand what you are saying, but my post appeared to be there for at least an hour or 30 minutes - then it was gone.

I think maybe if you posted it word for word the 2nd time, maybe there is some word or phrase in it that is causing it to be censored by AdultFriendFinder.

I only deleted one comment ever. It wasn't because I disagreed with the guy. It was just rude and offensive and bothered me. I didn't want to look at it or make anyone else look at it.

My blog is teflon coated I beleive. Nothing sticks in it.

The only posts I have deleted are ones that are double posted. I think it is clutter and have no problem getting rid of them. But I always keep the original one.

I only delete my comments if I was asked by the commenter Look into what hourglass said. You know how picky this site can be.

It appears that AdultFriendFinder was indeed blocking my post - apparently you can't use the name of the old IM program (sounds like "I seek you") - sheesh. Thats all I changed and the post went - very odd.

Perhaps it's a modern form of the old Roman practice of
decimation. They simply cull every x post. So no matter what you change it will be accepted until it is time for you to be culled again!

(Lol. It makes about as much sense as anything else I have seen)
