Provocative thoughts

I was reading about Pam Anderson and her beef (or chicken in this case) with Kentucky and KFC. She wants Kentucky to remove the statue of the Colonel becuase it is a symbol of his legacy "that mutilates God's creatures." (paraphrase) The Gov of course, did the right thing - he told Pam to shove off.

Why do all these people (and Harry Belafonte has to be the most hypocritical dildo in this country right now) who believe they are special (celebrities are the worst perpetrator of this) think they have a right to dictate to me how I live, think, and breathe? Harry was on CNN this morning, going off about Bush (we are in this war illegally and immorally), Powell & Rice (plantation slaves who serve their master well), and anyone else who doesn't go along with him.

Question: When a black person, who buys into the horseshit they've been fed from their "leaders", continues to believe that quotas & racial preferences help them, and thinks everything is the government's fault (and ignorantly highlights these "faults" ) is called a proud black man by most of their peers. Yet, when a conservative black person comes around, saying that you are responsible for yourself, that reparations aren't going to fix anything (just make it worse), and that these "leaders" have not done a thing to help (only hurt), are called Uncle Toms, house niggers, or, as Harry Belafonte put it, "plantation slaves." Why?

Think about it, since the height of civil rights in the 60's, what has happened to the black community with leaders such as Farrakhan, Jackson, Mfume, and their ilk in charge: your overall quality of life has gone down, as well as education, and health care, while poverty, drug addiction, joblessness, homelessness, andcrime have all gone up. And what have these leaders done? Gone to Washington, with one hand doing a bunch of finger waving, the other hand being held out as if it wants something. That's not leadership people. Leadership is you willing to stand up for yourself, get the job done that is needed, and getting people understand why. Not running around like sheep, expecting everything to be handed to you (like many of the great liberal "thinkers" from the 60's had happen to them - always thinking, doing nothing, and being more of a problem than a solution).

Here's the sad thing: if it was a white person saying something even remotely like what Harry said, he would be called a racist. He would be dragged out to the street by a mob of angry people (because no one, except a racist themselves, likes a racist), and lynched several times over (in the media and in life). Harry says it, and in the eyes of his peers, he's a courageous black man speaking out for the downtrodden in our society. I'd say that's a level of hypocracy no one anywhere should tolerate. Unfortunately, no one (except for a select few) are willing to question idiots like Pam and Harry, people who really don't have a fucking clue what they are talking about. We just continue to listen to these people (who, btw, haven't had a career in years, so they need something to make themselves seem important.)

Can't we tell these ignorant, unenlighted, self-absorbed, cancers to shut the fuck up, eat their bean sprouts, and leave the rest of us alone. I like my meat, I like my opinions (even though many piss others off because these opinions point out just how ignorant many people are), and I like my gasoline burning car. When we can actually achieve world peace (may happen, but not this lifetime), have vehicles that don't polute (they all do, it's called a junkyard), and can recycle everything (how many people would like their toilet to take their piss and turds and convert it into fuel for their home, or have their dead loved ones ground up and used for fertilizer?), then we can worry about little petty stupid shit. Until then, learn to take of your own problems, and handle your own business, before you start trying to run the rest of our lives.

Anything to add people?
