I WANNA SEE IT ALL

My retirement ain't nothing like I had in mind for me..when I use to dream about these days getting here...

I thought that like my mama and her mama before her..that I'd go places..see many things..do things I've never done.

The backwoods town I see everyday and my ili house I can see in my rearview mirror as I drive from my driveway..I reckon this is probably where I'm gonna remain..the rest of my days...destined to stay right here.

I really figured by the time I retired..I was gonna do it all..see it all..but heck..I can't drive more than 50 miles in any durn direction..and I'm lost.I have no sense of how to get anywhere...lost in a moment..that's me.

I use to make a list..of every place I could..if I ever could..go to see.I wanted to see places I read about in books..saw on the TV..and those places in my dreams.

I wanna see Montana in the fall..all those wide open spaces..

I've always wanted to see a real pro basketball game..see all that excitment up close..smell the popcorn..hear the fans..see those big players sweat and move so fiercesome up close.

Catch a few beads..down at the Mardi Gras..

Drink me some real tequila..Down in one of them there Tijuana towns..

Float on a houseboat..endlessly..up and the Mississippi..

See if the sand is as white..and as hot as they say..under my feet..feel the ocean breeze on my face..

I wanna put my hands right where Marilyn did..press them against that cement..smile up at the camera..and take that there picture home to look at and treasure..a memory to keep forever.

I reckon..all dreams.I ain't partial to planes..too far to drive and a retirement income allows just that..sometimes..dreams...

But..lordy..I wanna do it all.

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea?

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean??

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world??

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life??

When someone comes along, gonna give ya some love and affection,I say..Get it while ya can.

MZ, when I was stuck in Texas, I thought the same as you. I was destined to live and die in that god forsaken place. Until opprotunity came and damn near knocked down my door. So, I flew over the ocean and went to Germany and have chosen to stay here! AND,the travel chances are immense and fairly inexpensive here......

So, MZ...if ya ever wanna fly over the big pond, give me a shout...I have a place for ya to kick ya heels up at!!!!

I hope I die right where I'm at. I've moved enough in my lifetime and I LOVE this place, this land. My kitchen is big enough to dance in, I HATE small kitchens. It's actually big enough that I could put a blow up queen mattress in there...and probably will when the oldest brings friends home...and still have room to get around.

The property is up on a hill (I'm sure it's not much of a hill compared to some you have around there but any size hill is a rare thing here in the delta)...if you come up my driveway you have to "take it like you mean it!" LOL And we have a beautiful setting of grown trees. Tulip populars, dogwoods, red oaks and cedars. It's beautiful in the spring and fall. It might not be much to some folks, but it's my idea of paradise. Now if I could pick up the entire place and move it somewhere besides outside of Memphis that might be a consideration. I'm not fond of the AREA, but this place in the country...it's home.

I've never seen the Atlantic Ocean, but I've seen the Pacific. It was WAY too cold to swim in even in June.

I've flown, but never over a large body of water. I think that would really make me freak a bit. But then I don't like flying anymore anyway and the last flight I was on wasn't any help when we had a rough landing. I think I'll stick to traveling in the van. I've been in that seat for days traveling. You see more that way and it's a comfortable ride.

There's a lot of places I'd love to see...and some that I've seen that I'd like to do again. I'd like to hit the back roads and just drive this country. You stick with me, I can find my way anywhere and without the use of a map!

Lyndah,

Being a consultant I've been all over the states, living and working. I've managed to see many of the high points of 46 of the continental 48 so far. In each, I have made a point of traveling to as many of its parks, lakes and reserves as I can to enjoy at least some of the beauty that each has to offer. I haven't as yet had the chance to visit all the places here in Kentucky that I'd like to see since my car broke down, but will get there in time. I've also been to Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands and Philippines so have gotten to see a very small part of the rest of the world.

I hope that someday you get the chance to travel to and see all of the places you'd like to.

Hugzzz,
Jackie

MzHony,
Don't fret about where you live, It's all in what you make it.

I have lived in several different states, and in Germany for a while.
There is something unuque about each and every place that I have lived.

I have flown across the Atlantic several times while in the military, and have made several trips to mexico and the Honduras diving. My point is there is just something about being in a place where you know the history.

I can drive to town and remember when it was gravel road. I can remember the stories the old folks would tell about the Preacher that was hung for a horsethief way back when.

It's sort of like the old song Mac Davis did years ago where he gets to the point of " Happiness is Lubbock Tx. in the Rear view mirror"

Be happy BP

I might continue to live in my hometown, but I want to see as much of the world as possible. I often work in another state during the summer. One summer I spent in New England, another in Kansas, still another in sunny California. Next year it's either Canada or Alaska. I want to take another cruise. There are so many wonderful places to see--I've never been to Grand Canyon. So enjoy your retirement Mzhuny and remember as Dr. Seuss titled a book: "You're only old once."

I've made a mental list of places I've wanted to see in my lifetime...Here are few of the things I've already accomplished:

I've been in NYC for New Year's Eve
Seen the July 4th fireworks in Washington, DC
Been to the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, Lake Michigan, Pacific Ocean (although I was too young to remember it)
Been to the Grand Canyon

Things I still want to accomplish:
White water rafting down the Colorado River
Attend Mardi Gras (Just ONCE)
Go to the Sundance Music Festival
Own a passport with at least one stamp in it
See the New England trees in the Fall (Going to be doing this in October! YEA)
Go to Alaska and Hawaii (the last two states I've never been to)
Go see the Balloon races in New Mexico

Whew, the list can go on and on!!!

I don't know if I'm going to live where I'm at for the rest of my life. I just know I'm happy here for the time being.

Have a good day Mzhuny!

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea? Many times, but I really loved it in Grand Cayman where I got to snorkle with the stingrays.

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean?? Yes, i have.

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world?? I want to go to Italy and Switzerland.

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea?

Yep, I have swam in the north sea and the Mediterranean

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean??

I have flown over seas but not the ocean yet. I will in April of next year to go to Hawaii.

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world??

Egypt, and Norway (I want to see the aurora borealis (northern lights) as close up as I can)

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life??

I wish I didn't have to but think that maybe I will because it is hard to move with my son.

It's never too late for you to do the things you want. With a little determination you can do anything you want to do. Planes are an absolutely fantastic way to travel, just like a big bus in the sky.

Over the years of working I have traveled some and seen a great deal of this country, navigated the highways and flown to some nice places. One of the prettiest places I worked was in east Tenn., Pidgeon Fordge, where Dollywood is, but that was not there then. Find you someone who is good with a map and loves to drive, explore some huny you've earned it.

Morning Mzhuny! I grew up in a small town in Ohio....got married and left there at 19, and only go back for visits. I married a Navy man, and have lived overseas three times for about 9 years. I've seen the Pacific Ocean, and live near the Atlantic Ocean. I'd love to go to Hawaii. And I'd love to get back to Italy again. But I must admit that since hubby retired from the Navy.....I miss the adventure of seeing and living in new places.

I still live close to my home town because my parents are still there. but some day I hope to move closer to my children. Somewhere between Atlanta and West Palm Beach. I will be flying over the ocean next year when I go to Sweden for work. I want to see the great barrier reef in Australia before I leave this earth. I want to dive with the fishies. But I have always dreamed of having an A-Frame cabin on a lake in the north woods somewhere; and spend the rest of my days fishing and making friends with nature.

Hmm...where do i think I will be.....I have no clue. I am no where near where I thought I would be in my life but don't mind it now that I am here.
I have swam in the ocean, flown, and yet I still don't think I have seen much. I want to see some of the things that others see every day....things that you all take for granted, in the south, us in the north would love to see and do and vice versa....its so funny how geographical location changes what is new and exciting! =)
I would love to see the northern lights of alaska and the grand canyon before my time is up here. And i would love to spend an extended amount of time in Tahiti.....reflect and spend time taking that all in.
Thanks for making me look at this part of my dreams again....i am not suprised though. You help me look deeper into myself everyday! =)

Good morning, Lyndah. I hope you get to see all that you want one of these days. Perhaps you and your fella can make some trips together.

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea?
No and I've never even seen it. That is on my list.

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean??
No again. I have been in one plane in my life and that was a 4-seater for a sight seeing tour over my town. I won it in a contest. It was exciting but I was scared to death the entire time. I was 13 and hopefully, if I get the opportunity to fly again, I can enjoy it.

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world??
Not any that I have to see but some I would like to. Paris and the south country of France, Austria, and the ocean.

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life??
I may wander to another town, but it will be in this area. I am open to the possibilities though, especially if love were involved.

I live about 4 blocks from where my parents lived when I was born. I tell people I haven`t gotten very far in life. I`ve been a few places in my lifetime but I ended up back here. I like where I am and suppose I will live here the rest of my life but you never know.

Born and bred New York City girl here. I have lived in Connecticut, Tennessee, upstate NY and have settled in Baltimore, Maryland. I love to drive, but hate to fly. I also enjoy taking train trips. Ron and I took a cruise to Alaska in 2004 and it was breath-taking! I get my Harley next week, so next year I plan on doing a lot more traveling -- might even find myself visiting Kentucky, Lyndah! I've got family and extended-family living all over these United States, so I hope to get up and go soon. Don't know if I am HERE for the rest of my living days, but I do enjoy where I am right now. I LOVE swimming in the Atlantic Ocean! That was one reason why I only lasted one year in Nashville -- couldn't smell the Ocean.

Lyndah ~~ may all your dreams come true!

You can do anything you set your mind to. Sometimes the best thing to do is to grab a road map and a friend and just pick a direction and start driving. That's what i used to do when i was in my teens..... ( 17 to 19 ).... and didn't have any other plans. Never got far... rarely out of state cause cash was short...lol.

as for your questions......

1. one time when i was 12

2. nope..... don't care to much for flying... not scared of the heights just that sudden stop at the bottom.

3. Egypt.... always been fasinated by the ancient culture and wanna walk the ruins and see the pyramids both by day and in the moonlight. Will most likely never happen but who knows. Also would love to go to Vegas one time and play in the World Seris of Poker.

4. Most likely..... waited for years for a chance to get this land i have built on.... now that i've got it doubt i'll ever move away from it.

Isn't it what we all look forward to. we wait for the retirement to come, and thinking at that time in our lives we just drive off into the sunset. Well, just get out there and do it.
Thinking we never seen limes growing on a tree. or olives for that matter. walking on the white sand beaches in florida, seeing a cactic bloom in the desert. Watching firefly light up the darkness of the night.
Well, we are going to all them places, done our parenting, and with the purchase of one trick pony(named the Harley) we are on our way. Took in 11 states this year, from Idaho to the midwest and back home. Dandy got dead drunk in deadwood. walked the tunnel at the Dalton Hide out Gang home in Kansas. A volcano rising up out of the plains in the New Mexico sky. Yes there is many things to see in our journey.
While in a photo class in school, we use to have a assignment. called the thirty mile trip. You drove in any direction you wished and when the speedometer reached 30. You stopped and that is where you explored it, taken whole roll of film, and that was it. Now that was a trip of finding out about things we took for granted.
Here to you finding all the places you have dreamed of!!!!!!!
have a great day D & S

Yes, to Hawaii and Puerto Rico
Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world??
I would like to see the American Indains...my mother's dream for retirement, she died before she retired. So I want to fulfill it for her.

I suddenly had this thought of, one day, reading your blog, and seeing a picture of you on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with your hands right in Marilyn's Spot. That made me grin.

I'm very lucky. I've swam in the deep blue sea and climbed a high mountain. I travel to England often and could stare out the window at the ocean for hours. Someday, I want to see the Pyramids in Egypt. Someday.

But above it all, it's always so good to come HOME.

Lyndah, All my life I have lived in NEPA, and figured I was destined to stay in PA.. which is still true. However, an opportunity arose and I took it and went to Paris earlier this summer. It was the first time I ever flew and was not nearly as bad as I had feared. My next adventure will take me to Greece in November. One of the places I have always wanted to go to. Also on my wish list are the Florida keys and Bermuda.

I have been to the ocean (Atlantic) many times having vacationed there for a week or so every summer. I have seen Niagra Falls, New York City and of course Philadelphia.

However, there is no place like home when it comes right down to it, wherever that may be. It sounds corny I know, but there is something comforting about coming back to all things familiar and comfortable.../COLOR]

Been in the Atlantic and the Pacific. Been from Main to Florida and the East Coast to the West coast. Been to Alaska but not Hawaii. Flew over to Germany and Holland. Went to E Berlin when there still was one.
Been to Canada and Mexico.
Would like to travel more out of this country. New Zealand and Australia seem like places I would like to go.
Want to jump out of a plane - sky dive.
Just want to live and make new stories to tell. Don't want to get to a point where all I can remember or talk about is "the glory days".
Lived in the same town most of my life. Never expected that.
Will be moving out of town soon though. Not far, still in NJ.
After retirement? Who knows. Depends on my family situation I guess. The world is opening up for me and I know not where it will lead.

I think my blog title says it all "Life is what you make it"....

You can achieve anything in life but not everything !

Or more simply put "Just do it !"

Anyway, your questions:

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea?

I went on a last minute holiday in the Cayman islands

.... scuba diving on the reefs - quiet an experience !

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean??

When I was at school, two pupils were picked to have the opportunity to fly in a police helicopter

.... I was one of them and had the chance to take photographs of the county where I was born from the air

.... vertical drops down the cliff, flying a few metres above the beach at high speed with the surf spray everywhere - quiet an experience ! (and I have the photographs to remember it)

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world??

I have already seen quiet a lot I guess but I'm not really a big explorer.

.... I prefer not to just visit but to live and work in other countries (then I can really say I know what a place is like)

.... so far, I have just lived in the UK, Sweden and Germany but I'm looking for opportunities in Spain, China, Southern Germany, California and India (yes I know, its quiet a mix but I'm very flexible!)

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life??

No way !

.... the world is a big place, why stay in one place ?

.... actually I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have a home but no way of leading your life is perfect !

Live with passion !

I have only been on a 4 seat passenger plane, scared the dickens out of me! I swore if my ass could touch ground again, I would never get on a plane ( and I haven't!) ( and won't!)

I will be right here for the rest of my days.

I think if things were different for me, and I could afford it, I would like to see parts of England and Canada. But chances of that happening is zero!

Cute picture of you MzHuny peeking out from the tree!

I flew to Hawaii...so yes I flew over the ocean. It's a 7 hour flight from Cali to Hawaii. Love way. It is a seven hour flight from coast to coast in the US if that tells you anything. I want to go to Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Greece, Peru and I'd like to see the natural wonders of every state in the US.

Yup...this juiciness is from me....

I have been been pretty lucky. I have traveled abit not as much as I would like, but I have.

Been to Bermuda, Jamaica, California, Georgia,Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, Delaware, Maryland and wound up in Virginia.

Would love to go to Sicily and see where my father was born.

I was born and raised in NYC and if you can make it there'you can make it anywhere.

I'm doing the countdown to retirement my self and I can't wait.

Well... I've been to a lot of places, and I love to travel. I've been to England several times, and my father was based in Germany when I was a young girl. There are still many, many places I wish to see. The funny thing is... most of them are pretty close to where I am, or at least much more accessible than exotic European locations. Has anyone ever looked around your own hometown? Or the town a few miles down the road. There are lots of things to do and see, but it seems like because things are so close, we think we have all the time to see them, never taking advantage of today. So.. I think we should go see a local play, musical group or touring event. Open up the paper or check the net, try something new. Maybe if we all did more where we live, we wouldn't feel so bad about not being somewhere we may never get to.

Have I ever swam in the ocean. Oh hell yeah, MzHuny. I live about 30 miles or so from the Atlantic. We swim, surf, play in it alot

Have I ever flown over the ocean? Yep, both the Atlantic and the Pacific.

Places i want to go? Amsterdam and Jamaica. Been to Europe, been to the Far East, Mexico and Canada.

I'll live and die right here. I've run as far as I'm going to, and here's where I make my stand. Joe

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea? Atlantic Ocean, Rockaway Beach and Jacob Riis Park on Long Island. Saw Gulf Coast and Pacific, but didn't swim in either.

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean?? Just a little corner from Philadelphia to Long Island, and another little sliver from San Diego to Burbank.

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world?? If I were given the choice, I'd go to Hawaii and visit the USS Arizona memorial and the USS Missouri, in honor of the WWII generation. I'd do the scenic stuff, too, but those are important for what they represent.

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life?? I hope not! I'll eventually be too old and feeble to keep up with this place.

Not in this trailer... But in MN, probably. I can't deal with heat. I have to stay where the winters get cold. And my family is here.

You and I are a lot alike, you know? I've wanted to visit and do all of those things you listed. And more. Also like you--I have no money. I'm not retired, though... I'm hoping I can squirrely some away so I can AT LEAST see the ocean before I die. Luckily, I have a long ways to go before death

Even if I don't see those things, I know I can be happy where I am. The worst would be to go to those places and not be thrilled by them. Don't you think?

Have i ever swam in the deep blue ocean - yes, but nowhere exotic.

Have i flown over the ocean - yes, on my visits to Florida and I have another visit coming up next March

Is there somewhere I must see before i die - yes, the terracotta warriors and forbidden city in China

Will I live the rest of my life where I am - I hope not but time will tell

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea? I've gotten my feet wet in the Pacific Ocean, and got a second degree sunburn on a cloudy day at the beach. I've swum in the deep blue Great Lakes, Erie and Michigan, specifically.

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean?? I flew over the Atlantic back and forth to Paris, France. Turbulence so bad that the plane literally dropped out from under my feet as I was walking back to my seat, had to crawl the rest of the way. But I love to fly.

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world?? I'd love to go back to Paris, would love to see the Mayan ruins in the Mexican Pennisula, go to Australia, England, Ireland, and Sweden. I'd love to drive all the way up the Pacific Coast to from San Diego to Alaska, and visit each of the 50 states.

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life?? Actually, I'm envious of your life, small town, nice people, quite and simple. I just got back from Cottonwood and have decided that I will be moving to that area when I retire, or somewhere like it. I'm so sick of the city and the noise and crowding and rude people. And my stupid asthma from all the air polution.

I have lived and worked near US East Coast beaches. I have seen New York, Philly, Baltimore, Washington DC, Atlanta, Birmingham, and many other US cities. BUT I have never been west of the Mississipi in the US. I long to visit Vegas, LA, San Francisco, the Grand Canyon, Phoenix, Denver, and yes, Montana too. I would ove to go to Seattle WA and Portland OR. I'm about your age too. Unfortunately, I still have to work to make ends meet so I can't travel like I want. This comment submitted 24 hrs ago and was banned for "ate , eapons and nderage" (add these missing letters in that order H , W, U ) issues. And it contained none of that so I hope it makes it this time.
--------------------------------------------------------------
For awhile I lived on that same hill where the Hollywood sign hangs and where Marylin put her hands in the cement was just a mile down the hill.

I've gotten hammered on tequila and Mexican beer while hitting up every nightspot on the Ensenada strip in one evening. Partied with off duty Mexican cops there too. That's just a few hours drive away to the south of me with Las Vegas about the same distance away to the North.

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea?

Yes manay a time. I've swam in the Pacific ocean and the Baltic Sea.

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean??

I had no interest in doing that until my parents said they'd pay my plane fare if I paid the rest of my expenses to visit my brother who had move to Sweden to work. That got me totally hooked on travel.

Enough so that within about 7 years of first doing that I myself had gotten a great job in Denmark and I moved over there for awhile.

Is there some place ya gotta see..before ya leave this ole world??

yes but it's not any particular physical or geographical location. It's a place where I have become truly happy and comfortable with myself. In the place I am now in that regard I'm still a bit too self critical. I leanred from my traveling that you can run but you can't hide from the true you inside and that's really who and what guides all things into or out of your life. Just take a good look in the mirror and that's who really you really have to come to terms with before you acheive your own centered peice of mind.

Think you'll live right where ya all are..the rest of your life??

Now I really have some full circle back to the only place I've ever really thought of as "home". It just might be the place I'll always now be rooted but I really don't know. But if there is any place I can think of where I truly feel I can allow myself to be what I truly am from the indides out it is here. But in a way it is almost "too safe" and too isolated. I am unreachable here. Most anything cannont even touch me here. And I might still crave a little more challenge than that. But for the moment I think it really is where I should be.

Travel doesn't have to be all that expensive and I've never travelled anywhere that I thought wasn't worth my time and money to visit. Just do a lttle research on your target locations and then just do it Hunyhole, you won't regret it!

Well, i've been here 31 years so far. I always felt I could live elsewhere... even a desert... but I must always return home. Every few years... the option must always be there to return. Else I'll go crazy. Idaho is in my blood, my heart and soul. (well: i've lived equally Washington and Idaho... but I love Idaho mountains. Hate Idaho wages). I can't see myself up and moving away on my own though. 1: too much stuff 2: cats and 3: mom would kill me. (we've had this talk a few times. My comment of "i'm moving to......" is met with "Like HELL you are!!" every single time).

Have ya all ever swam in the deep blue sea?

I've swam in the English Channel, the North Sea, The Irish Sea, the Atlantic Ocean (only teeny lil bits of it, lol! Off the coast of Cornwall, Portugal, France and Morocco), off the Isle of Jura in the Scottish Hebrides, the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean.

Have ya all ever flown over the ocean??

The Atlantic and Indian Oceans. I've even flown over the sea in my paraglider ...... but never so far that I can't land on the beach or the clifftop.

Australia. Twice in my life I almost ended up there and I have had many Oz friends.

There's something reassuring about that. Might downsize to an apartment. There are some nice apartment complexes that have been developed in my part of London. It's always a mistake that retired people make to up sticks and move somewhere totally new.

Dearest Lyndah,

Take that leap if opportunity knocks. I know so many people that wanted to do things before they left this world and was not able to do so. I have traveled my entire life but have always maintained a Home in the South.

I adore the Beach and have a Home there. Swimming is a daily thing for me, somewhere. I enjoy building sand castles. During the Winter we all travel to the Keys for sun and fun. We also enjoy cruises. These things are just a few that keep me sane. One place that I want to go and visit friends is Paris. Never been there and think that it would slow me down a bit. I love art and would enjoy meeting some of the Artist there.

I love the wind. It's essential when hang-gliding. My Nephew is a Student Pilot and I guess that I'll be checking out quite a few new places shortly.

As for living in the same place; I enjoy all of them. Yes, Home will always be in the South. You are welcome here any ole time your heart desires too.

I love down to earth folks. {=} and love to you.

For all Time,
Lady Hunter

Sweet Huny, I was just like you. I did something one day and I have never looked back. I havent burned bridges. I have built new ones. I am a TX. boy. I grew up in Gun Barrel City. I was sittin there one day and some one said lets go to Virginia. I said, Damnit, I might just better take this chance. I wouldnt have ever seen the east coast if I hadnt made that decision that fateful day. Many years later I was told I would have to leave my family and my beloved TX again. I said NO. I packed my shit and went to Austin. The day before I got there they hired 100 people. No job for me. I went to Labor Ready and I made the bills. I was sent to a Lowe's Home improvement store. I worked for a week for a man who was so impressed he called his boss and said you gotta look at this Cat. 2 weeks later I had a great salary and was told to go and sit at home til they told me I was needed. 2 weeks later I was flown to Portland, Oregon. I have never looked back. I am in Paradise. The North West is breathtaking. What I am trying to say Huny, is, Never give up that dream! Live your life as if there will be no tomorrow. You may never see those places you wish for. Make every day the most where you are. Go out near your home find the historical areas. Find the cool parks and have a picnic. Find a historian who can point you to treasures that you would normally drive past every day. I was stationed in NY City in the service. Nearly every day I walked past the Twin Towers. I never went to the observation deck. I never took that opportunity. I will never make that mistake again. Take at least one day a week and find treasures around you, because you never know, Tomorrow may never come. Damn it lets party and live every day!!!

I've traveled a lot in the US and Europe.
I would love to visit Lake Baikal (Russia--near Irkutsk)
I've swam in the Atlantic, Pacific, Lake Superior, countless lakes and rivers in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Also swam in the Tennessee, Ohio, Cumberland, Mississippi, Missouri, Colorado, James, Rappahannock, Potomac, Des Moines, Shenandoah, and Susquehanna rivers.
(guess I love water)
