not well

I am not feeling well today, neither was i feeling well yesterday, over the weekend i have been getting a bit more unwell and felling steadily worse, its not life threatening and there's no need to go and seek professional advice.I just thought i would note it in my blog as it is a unusual event for me to not feel well.I cant remember a time when i have missed work because of being sick,in my 20's and 30's i missed loads of days from work because i had drunk to much the night before but never for being unwell, also i had a few weeks of work when i cut my hand open on a roofing job.I was unwell a few times when i traveled round India, one time for over two weeks always the same symptoms, going to the toilet a lot,no appetite and cramps in the stomach, the same symptoms that i have now,i can remember that last week i did eat a few takeaway meals and i believe i have picked up a food poisoning bug,i suppose i could go and get some antibiotics at the chemist to ease it,but i will not,i will wait to my body sorts its self out and kills the bugs.

You just might have food poisoning, muffin. People always think that it was the last thing they ate or what they ate the day before that gave them the food poisoning, but that is not necessarily true.

In college I needed a science elective so I took a course called "The Chemistry and Biology of Food." It was such an interesting class! One thing I remember is there are several types of food poisoning and one can become sick from something they ate or drank up to a month after ingesting it.

Actually, scientists theorize that we have small cases of food poisoning quite often but it is not severe enough to call our attention to it. Just a small tummy ache, a little lower intestinal upset, and so forth.

Do try your best to keep hydrated and your electrolytes up---soup, Gatorade, or any sports drink, dry crackers, etc. Hope you’re feeling better, soon!

I agree Sensuous,i started feeling a bit unwell last week,so it could have been something i ate the week before, its got steadily worse and i hope that at the moment it is at its height, the stomach pains are the worse effect.

I dont have much appetite but have been drinking lots of water and ate some soup today.

I have no doubt i will be feeling my usual self soon.
Thanks Sensuous.
