Top Bloggers

If you read my last post, you will see that i have not been feeling very well over the last 4 days.I have had more time to visit this site and surf around more than i would normally do.

I have nearly always avoided the top bloggers,i rarely visit them,i have looked at a few over time, some of them do not reply to the left comments,of course it is up to them how they run their blog, but i see no point in leaving a comment without getting a reply,in a way i think it is quite rude, some of them i have no interest in what they are writing.

I think my main reason is,that i do not feel the need to be part of the gang,to be popular,or liked,i suppose i just do not need that level of interaction with other members.

Over the last few days i have visited some of the top bloggers,i am not taring them all with the same brush, but some of them have turned it into a right bitch fest, maybe its always like that? Competitive, who is to be the most liked, who has the most friends, who has the most influence to sway others.

Claims and counterclaims are made, coded blog posts are written where people take sides but have no real idea what is going on,the people making the allegations do not have the balls to name the person or persons instead hide behind the TOU.

You are the victims of your own hard work and petty one up man ship.

Take note top bloggers....I will not visit you anymore.

It's funny Muffin.....I really don't consider myself a top blogger. And I don't know that you regularly visited me anyways. But Mzhuny.....now she is a legend....and she rarely complains about anything. The great thing about blogging is that it is yours. And you can do what you want to with it. Even "bitch" about the top bloggers having bitch fests! lol Have fun Muffin.....enjoy your blog....and visit those that you want to visit. It is your right! Blog on!

I do not comment in the popular blogs very much either. Except for a few that I have been blogging with for over a year.

The main reason I don't comment there much is that the interaction is not there. Those blogs have so many folks commenting that I feel my voice is lost. Then, as you say, often the comments I have left in the past have gone unnoticed. Well, at least there is no indication that I was heard.

The main pattern for reading blogs that I seem to follow is to peruse the recent post list looking for a title or familiar author that grabs me. Also, I backtrack my own comments over the past few days and see if I was responded to and if there is anything else to add.

Blog On!

Yeah, I don't get that...and don't care if I get it. I'm here to find some fun. I write my blog for 1) me 2) so someone can get to know me better if they choose. What I'm HOPING for is ONE someone that gets to know me better and then I'll write my blog for 1) me 2) to seduce him. Wish you luck in finding what you're looking for.

Hey, Muffin,

Your words have a certain sting. The reason I blog is that I am a total narcissist and love writing about myself (no joke).

I try to avoid "in jokes" because I remember being in high school and how I hated being outside the popular kid cliques, and I try to provide enough background so that readers understand the situations I describe without revealing the identity of my sex partners in order to protect their privacy.

I would genuinely appreciate your suggestions about how my blog could be improved in meeting my goals which include:

1) openly sharing information about female sexuality
2) sharing information about how the female mind works in relation to men
3) having fun.

Thanks!

Angelofmercy,i do not think i have ever read your blog,i do remember you were the first person to comment on my blog, welcomeing me to blogland, which i thought was very kind of you.

Yes, i suppose i am haveing a little bitch, i do realize not everyone plays by the same rules, but there does seem to be quiet a bit of ,in house fighting up there.

TnWitchyWomen i write my blog for me to,i find it a nice thing to do,i would rather have some regular responders than 60/70 people writing in it,then a different 60/70 responders in my next post, its to many people for me,i have picked a few i like to interact with, whether they want to or not lol.

There is room for more people, but i do not think i will able to seduce anyone from them reading my ramblings.

Good luck to you 2.

Bustybettyboop. I am sure very few people on the list consider themselves top bloggers, but we have to have a list, as we have lists for everything, again i have never visited your blog as far as i remember. You do not have to say sorry to me.

Dang! You caught me!

Since I am here I will add to what SexySensualSane has begun up there.

The competition on the list has been around almost as long as the list itself. The only list that didn't see that bickering was the original list in the first few months of BlogLand. I believe at that time GoddessOfTheDawn was the leading blogger (determined by total number of comments) while the top male blogger was EricBloodAxe (I think) (who was quickly overtaken by expatbrit49).

Anyway it's not the names that matter. The point I want to make is that it didn't last long. The blogs began in February of 2005 and the first scandal to hit the list was in early April. That one concerned the validity of the pics that a top female blogger was using. (surprise).

Prior to that, many bloggers had been posting about their unhappiness with the inadequacies of the list. When a top blogger became connected with scandal it was explosive. I was amazed at the energy it created.

That scandal (it involved the blogger bella_) occurred when there were less than twenty thousand total posts in all BlogLand. With the rapid population growth here the energy created from scandal has grown proportionally and it is fun to watch as always.

I have often gone to the initial post in a blog when I encounter one. Both to genuinely welcome the blogger to BlogLand, as well as possibly lure another reader to The Venting Blog. I have done this from the get-go, long before a "unique" comment became an important blog stat. In any event, politeness and friendliness are held as virtues in most social settings.

I have been well rewarded for those efforts, and will continue them.

Blog On!

I avoid drama, blog for many reasons...and we all started the smae as you. This is an interesting perspective. I'll agree that I value the interaction, and try to respond to comments left in my blog.

Hope you have fun here!

If you want to go around and welcome new members Keithcancook thats your choice,i fully understand the idea is to interact with one another, you can learn a lot of stuff from reading some folks blogs,i find it interesting,i suppose you have to try and set your own level of comfort regarding how much interaction you want.

Ok you have managed to lure me to the Venting blog,i will be along in a short while.
Blog on!

~ smilez ~ @ keith ~ yupz, the beginning was amazing. I never will forget your comparison to a child: the innocence, the unconditional bonds that were formed, and then it started changing....
