sniffle sniffle. misery.

I want to claw my eyes out. I don’t know what exactly it is in the air these days, but I am absolutely miserable. I think I have the worse case of hay fever in the history of mankind. I am constantly sneezing. I wake myself up at night sneezing. Trust me ladies and gents, there is nothing more romantic that trying to restrain snot projectiles during a romantic interlude. My larger problem lies in the fact that I have an aversion to ephedrine or whatever it is in allergy medications. After taking only one Alevert, I feel like I have just smoked a giant crack rock. I don’t know what is worse, sniffling and sneezing, or having an unrelenting urge to scour the coffee pot. I have heard rumors of certain prescriptions that are without such side effects for those of us with a weak tolerance to any sort of speed (two cups of coffee and I am climbing the walls). If there is anyone out there who has any advice on this matter, I would be eternally grateful.

hehehe you poor thing I know how you must feel

My problem with antihistamines is that they knock me out literally...

my mum used to sneak them into my dinner when I was sick but had too much I just HAD to do and I would wake up 2 days later....

anyway I find Teldane or as it is now known in Australia Telfast is the best on the market and it doesn't knock you out good luck sweety go and get some sleep!

try claritin or do the natural route and get some local honey and put it on your toast and tea..usually it will build your immune system up to handle whatever the allergens are because of the busy bees.

but lately im getting my ass kicked by them too..good luck!

I must be very lucky! I don't seem to be bothered by pollen. Maybe it's because I have spent so much of my life outdoors and have developed some sort of immunity. Sorry you feel down!

Thanks for the tips. Never heard of Telfast, perhaps you could ship me some, lol. Also I didn't know honey had such powers, but I'm not surprised, Heck if you can use it to wax your legs its definetly multi-purpose.

I don't believe there is any legal chemical capable of turning me into such as zombie as would be required to tolerate Mr. Bolton. I will be praising the pharmaceutical god as soon as I am able to get a good nights sleep.
