How many people still know what a real Pen Pall is???

I am feeling good today....a little tired, don't know yet how i will survive the wild wild west tonight, those dark lonely streets, but i will drive through there with a smile on my face, music in my ear, gathering my thoughts...drowning all the negatism...keep my head up...
I have received some wonderful words, words from a so called stranger...words of encouragement...somebody who is only reading me, no visual - no talk on the phone - no sexual enticement...a pen pall...remember the old days when there were pen palls....with all the technologie, does the new generation even heard about or know what a pen pall is???
A Lost Wonderful Art...

This is a wonderful way to communicate the things that mean more to us. There is much to learn with each waking day and each and every moment. I celebrate this life regardless of the enticements that pull at us to go negative. Life is so very much a gift and all that I am I am thankful for. I enjoyed reading your message; it inspired me.

Pen pals are encouraged somewhat through the "Flat Stanley" program in the elementary schools.

I've had a few of them, still love to write with a pen on paper. Part of my poetry still is first written like that.

Recently I sent someone I knew from online a first hand-written card. Not even realizing the effect that would have until they told me how they cherished it.

Yupz, I know what a pen-pal is, and I love my pen-pals (the online ones too, but there is a difference).
