Blackout

Had plans for a B-B-Que last night, but at the last minute it got windy. So I called it off. Good thing too, cause it got really windy, 50 mph. You know the type, street cleaning winds--all the trash ends up in my yard. Then the dry lightening and the sagebrush fires and the timber fires, 11 in the Boise area. Then the power went off. Lucky I had stopped at a fast food drive-in and had a milkshake and onion rings to tide me over.Power came back on about 3 AM. 24 hours later you can still smell smoke from the fires still burning. Ohh well, we all need some excitement.

That's the kind of excitement I can do without!!! Too bad about the BBQ.
