Spring Gardening

This past weekend, Saturday, the temperature reached around 65F or 15C! That's a heatwave were I live this time of year. But it made me think of being outdoors and gardening.

Unfortunately, I can not get out to do any planting or anything related to gardening. There is not much one can do when the ground is still frozen. Last night it snowed and the ground was covered with that white stuff this morning. It's back into the grips of Old Man Winter. Argh this cabin fever.

I can not begin planting until mid May as frost still occurs up until then. I'm ready for Spring and Summer.

I understand those folks who live further north than I do and have to wait even longer.

Anyway, I can begin seeds indoors in about 2 to 3 weeks. That's something to look forward to doing.

I'll be starting tomatoes, peppers, and some less favorite ones such as broccoli.
