Shameless pimping ...

My friend, blueguy1051 is in need of a job. He is an experienced and certified project manager and IT manager, with 20 years experience. If you know of something, you can email either him or me (I'll pass it along). Location is not important, he'll work anywhere.

Any leads that result in an interview will receive a face pic from me!!!

I have no idea if this violates the ToU or not, and I don't care.

Blueguy, I'm sorry to hear you got canned (read it in fastfifties blog). Afraid I don't have any job offers on hand, and besides commuting to Norway is a bit of a stretch.

Best of luck in your search for a new job!

I desparately need someone with his qualifications. Problem is my boss really seems bent on mimimizing success and maximizing chaos in the organization. We're supposedly replacing our software system and our IT manager is still living in the DOS age.

He could try Summit Solutions in Leavenworth, Kansas. They are a small company just outside Kansas City (30-45 minute commute depending where you live). They provide all the audio visual, to include computers, projectors, video, etc. to all the Federal Courts in the United States. They also do all the IT for our firm. They are not however, just limited to providing IT for legal tyope entities, (I know how you dislike us lawyers ) they perform IT for a number of companies it the KC area. I don't know the website off the top of my head, but an IT guy can figure that out pretty easily. Good Luck!

Thank you all very much. Not being in a position to be choosy, I will follow up on all of these suggestions. I have also posted something on my blog that expresses my feelings about this post, [post 400864] .

Twister - I can turn a wrench but you can get an 18 year old who will do it cheaper and better.

fmisvme - I was always afraid that some lawyer wanted to put me in Leavenworth. Thanks, and I'll check on it.

puntachueca - If you don't mind, I'll send you an email about how to contact your company.

jd29992z - Thanks, I'll check it out. Houston? heat, humidity and some of the worst traffic in the world ... but beats starving.

pleasuresex3 - closer than commuting to Russia, which I've considered.

sweetniceguy75 - thanks.

Erotica, Tabs - {=}

Kelli - ?* I asked you not to do this ...

No problem Blueguy, just hope you find something that you'll enjoy.
Kelli as for the face pic...if things workout for Blueguy and hopefully they will, you don't have to send us a face pic. Since we'll never really meet anyway, we don't want to lose the evanescent mythical image we have created of you...but you could send another picture of your bottom Good Luck Blue...Hopefully you won't be that way long!

It lets see here.. I have a friend Shaun who just took off to Arizona and just started his It company .. hes looking for another employee here in Napa Valley. I will call him and ask him what the job pays. Napa Valley is always a fun area! I don't have an opening in my consulting company but do have an opening for a locksmith in another I own. Next year I will have openings for an internet startup I am working on. Waiting for funding on that one.

Kelli no picture needed i like your elusiveness

I wish I could help blue, especially in the light of seeing your face pic! But I've been looking for a decent job for 10 years here. Won't relocate. But have no fear, he'll get something quick. I imagine he's too good to be on the beach for long.

To work at the company you mention, do I have to master one-hand typing? I'll send you an email for the links.

I have been a programmer, DBA, network admin, IT Mgr., essentially can manage it all. PMP. I've worked inside and out.

No problem. I got laid off myself last year so I know what you're going through.

I actually got my present job through Monster. I actuall got a lot more calls than I expected to get through there. I got more responces through there than I do responces from AdultFriendFinder women.

Kelli - I will check the university website tonight - look for an email from me. If he is a project manager there should be no problem finding him something from the MBA listings.

Hey I tried emailing you - but got an auto-response that I have not read your profile (I dont have a pic on here) - send me an email on how to contact you (email) outside this site - there are numerous listings through the university for project management - starting well over 100K

Since I don't know you at all I can't nor would I recommend you for any of the Project Manager positions I know of (sorry), however these sites are very helpful for networking with other executives:

Networking Sites

Your friend Kelli says you are certified PM so I'm not sure if she is meaning a PMP or CAPM? It's very easy to get a PM job (hot especially around NYC area now) as long as you have a PMP, 5+ yrs. exp, under 35 (sorry to say but it's very true), MBA, hard worker, and networking (of course).

I have no clue how to send emails on this site but if you are able to send me an email with your resume (not an attachment, paste into email or it will be deleted) I'll send it out to a number of different recruiters that deal with job placement for PM's. Here are some of their sites:;jsessionid=28BD74C6AFE06AE6339F0B924957B499

Just do a little work on your own and you'll be able to find a job going through this info. No need for someone to just hand you a job, the fun part is the chase also... so enjoy and then you can be picky so you get the exact fit you want!! Plus it will save your friend Kelli from sending a head shot out to someone!

Lastly I would recommend going back to your Alumni college as lots of colleges have networking clubs setup that you can meet in groups and help each other with either finding a job or business ventures, etc.

Hope this helps you get into a little better path...

P.S. Just make sure you make yourself very visible to the world... i.e. professional blogs, personal website, resume boards, networking boards, etc..

BlueGuy...i dont you'll have any problems...enjoy the time off...go see a friend Two sayings i will always remember that were commonplace in my previous field before starting my own company..1) "I was looking for a job when i found this one.." and 2) "The only vacation you get is between jobs". I hope this doesnt not apply to your field, but if it does make the most of your free time..

How is he at shooting grade and operating a 200lb Ingersol/Rand jackleg rock drill for ground support and round drilling, handling and loading nonL delayed explosives or running an articulated diesel front end loader in the confines of an 8'X 8' heading 1,500ft underground in the middle of a mountain? Molycorp Questa NM. He can use me as a reference. They say it's a young man's job but age is only a number. You're as young as you feel.

I'm trying to make points here and be known in a positive way. I'm trying to work my way into this hooottt sexxxyy pretty ladies network. I'd like to see more than a photo of her face lol.
