Post from a guest blogger

Hi, I'm W, also known as wickedwench75 .

I wanted to thank you all for your comments on Kelli's blog about my breakup. I appreciate the support.

I'm going to be ok, and although I still feel pretty stupid for not seeing him for what he was, I'm not as angry any more.

Hugs and kisses to all you nice people who wished me well.

Go ahead and be angry. You were treated like shit by someone who will almost certainly find himself in a hell of his own making sooner or later....

preferably sooner.

Shit, it made me angry just to read about it. No one deserves that kind of treatment, unless they're psychotic compulsive liars themselves.....

This is my first comment on a blog, though I read them all the time. I really like the picture!

Okay... after I finished posting my reply, I looked up your profile....

I haven't laughed so hard at a profile since......well, never, now that I think of it...but I don't match your settings so I couldn't send you an email...so you're stuck with this very public compliment...

"Republicans and military need not apply."
"If "mandatory" is too large a word for you to understand, assume that you're not my kind of guy."

I'm glad you're doing okay Don't feel stupid - the worst ones are the best at fooling people...

"Attitude is everything. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle. Live simply, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain."

I haven't had my profile visible in a long time. The first email I get is some yo-yo telling me I'm condescending. Since he didn't fit any of my criteria, there's something wrong with me? I don't think so.

Thank you. But you would think I would get better at spotting the liars as I get older.

I don't participate in the blogs often, but that "breakup letter" was just irresistably bad.

Because of a couple comparable incidences in my life, I have this great magnet on my refrigerator: "It's better to have loved & lost than to live with that bastard for the rest of your life."

Don't know if you feel that way, but I found I was more angry with myself for either not detecting it or for ignoring my instincts -- than I was at the guys.

Well, he was right. and you have every right to look down your nose at such a fool.

I don't know where so many people ever picked up the idea that being either stupid or a jerk is some kind of privilege that has been bestowed upon everyone. These people need to be reminded that they belong on the lower rungs.

Same question a jarhead emailed me. I am very politically active, far left, and anti-military. I believe that the only appropriate use of force is for defensive purposes. Here in Louisville, we're right between Fort Knox and Fort Campbell, and there are lots of young idiots being trained as cannon fodder for Iraq - a war I am absolutely against. If I didn't put that in there, I would be deluged with 19-year-olds with delusions of becoming war heroes. I don't have anything against ex-military, preferrably long time ex-military. On the other hand, my last boyfriend was in the air force for four years ...

But I've read your blog, and you're not a Republican, so we can probably be friends.

Aren't you happy you didn't get any further involved before you found out the truth? I guess we should congratulate you for beating the illness and feeling better. Now you can go on with your life. J

Gee, ya think? I can understand, given your location, the no military. I spent 17 years total service Army. But my blog tells all of those details, and Kelli knows my background. Joe

My dad and uncle served in Vietnam. They worked with VVAW after they came back. Midwest farm boys who saw more of the world than they bargained for. I couldn't handle having a bf go over to get shot at. I'd be a total wreck.

You're braver than I am. The thought of the author of some of these emails recognizing me on the street is just too horrible. Thanx for the well wishes.

My bravery is probably overrated...the only people I know around where I now live are the people I work with, and the only two I met from this site live about an hour away. I stopped all the emailing almost a year ago, and I didn't receive any from anyone very close to me. Also, I'm required to wear my hair up and secured at work, my co-workers hardly recognize me when I see them out somewhere. Sooo, I guess I feel a little freer to be a bit more daring at times.
