Oldies

Here are a couple of posts that you might have missed. I posted them under my alternate handle when I was temporarily removed earlier this year. Since I'm too lazy to write something new today, you'll have to make do with these.

More proof

I'm going to get in trouble again

More proof that the IQ of the American male is declining. These are from network invites. Since my profile says I'm too depressed to be interested in men or sex, I can only assume that they are very weird. Just what I need, weird guys. As if I needed to get on line to find some.

Hey. I read your profile and am very attracted to you. Since I'm sure you get a million e-mails a day, I'll tell you a little bit about myself. Hopefully you are interested and I hear back from you!...(More)

I have read your profile and really liked what I saw...both in print...and imagined. You struck a nerve. Your self description and what you desire is right on the mark with how I used to feel myself.I...(More)

Hi, I saw your ad and I am rather intrigued by it as I believe we are seeking the same type of friendship and would love to chat with you and see where it goes. I am a good looking white male 6'2"...(More)

[post a] Uh oh! I think I'm going to get in trouble again...

I just changed my geographic location in my profile because I'm going to be moving in a couple of months. As I don't have a picture posted (clue - this will be important later), and my profile is aimed at turning away people rather than attracting them (weird, huh?), I didn't expect any responses.

But, guess what?

Not only have I a suitor, but he is impressed enough to write three (3) pages! Wow! I now know more about him than I do about Abraham Lincoln!

He starts out telling me that, I do not smoke, but can tolerate a mild smoker if everything else clicks.

I'm so glad he's willing to tolerate me. Although I have always wanted someone to love and cherish me, I guess that tolerate will do.

He goes on to give me his complete academic and work history. Nice of him, as it will save me sending off for his transcripts. He's some kind of rocket scientist, so it's nice to know in advance that if I ask him about his job, whether I listen or not won't matter, as I won't understand anything he says. I can fairly accurately predict that, as I didn't understand everything he told me about his work in his initial message, but he sounds impressed at his accomplishments.

I did understand the part about him having his very own hot tub.

I saw your profile and would very much like to get to know you. It would be great if we could explore this possibility and it would be fun to have a good special friend to spend fun times with. What am I looking for? First off, in my business position, I have to ask you maintain discretion. I'm looking for an intelligent, attractive, energetic and creative woman to spend occasional time with.

(For those who haven't had the pleasure of studying my profile, here it is in total: "Profile for ObsidianButtrfly
I'm just here for the blogs. I used to be interested in sex and men, but now I'm so depressed that I just want to be left alone with my computer.
My Ideal Person:
A nice, kind man who will fulfill my every need, my every fantasy, my every desire.")

Now, doesn't that convey that I'm "an intelligent, attractive, energetic and creative woman"? I am so impressed by someone who can read between the lines like that!

I'm also impressed that he is so important that discretion is a must. It says he's divorced, so that's not it, right?. Personally, being taken out in public is so over rated. I prefer lovers who feel they have to hide me from their friends, family, and whoever else might consider me to be unacceptable. I have always aspired to being taken out of the closet like the vacuum cleaner and then being put back after I've performed my function.

Then he launches into a very long and intimately descriptive fantasy of our first meeting. He said that it was inspired after reading my profile.

It starts out, I imagine that you've decided to meet me. As you walk towards me, I see that you are even more beautiful and sexy than your pictures indicated.

I would hope so. Personally, I think the picture on my profile looks awful. Really gray. No facial features. I'd have to be dead for a week to look worse.

In his imagination, We fit just PERFECTLY together. Since he weighs twice what I do, I guess he's only talking about certain parts of our anatomy. He describes himself as "long and very thick", so I have my doubts about that, too.

Guys, for what it's worth, a copy and paste of something that you're sending to every woman who turns up on a search isn't going to make me real gushy. It doesn't make me feel real special.

But, hey, the pictures he sent me show a good looking guy. He seems to have some money (his very own hot tub!), so if anyone is interested, contact me and I'll pass along the two different email addresses, yahoo and aol IM addresses that he sent, along with his profile name here. He did forget to include his phone number.

You know, I'm just so fighting the temptation to create an alternate identity to send you outrageous emails so just you can rip them in cyber land. It must be some character flaw on my part. Your delicate shredding of the witless cyber cranks just cracks me up.

sillyperv - fighting temptation is stressful and can lead to heart disease and blue balls ... But I'm not sure that someone with a brain could conceive of some of the things I and other women get on this site. You may be several light years out of their league when it comes to witlessnes.

Wow! I just saw all the new stuff under the comment window!

NEW TOYS!!!!!!

Artistic reasons. I wanted to direct people to the original. (sticks tongue out, but not in a nice way)
